There's only a few nearly level spots - but the view MORE than makes up for the effort you expend to get your camper stabilized. Plus there's an existing, well-placed fire pit, and the hosts made sure to provide us plenty of dry firewood. Plus the location is convenient to plenty of hikes, activities, etc. What more do you need? Definitely recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place, field surrounded by trees with a view of the mountains. Lots of space. Nice little fire pit spot. Hosts were friendly and accommodating while also giving us complete space. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful view! This campsite was very easy to get to and had lots of very cool things to do in a close vicinity. Blue Mountain Barrel House and Saunders Farm Market are both within 5ish min and are great! The owner was super friendly and greeted us when we got there! The campsite was really well maintained and had chairs, a fire ring, and a grill for us to use. Would definitely recommend!

We hosted a 7-person retreat here and it was absolutely magical. The property feels like a sanctuary—hammocks by the waterfall, butterflies everywhere, and plenty of space to do powerful, grounding work in nature. A short hike up the falls is well worth it, and you can even catch glimpses of Crabtree Falls from part of the land.
It’s also easy to slip away to quiet spots along the Tye River for peaceful reflection. The lack of cell service turned out to be a gift, allowing everyone to be fully present and unplugged.
We can’t wait to come back and see how the space continues to grow after construction—it’s already such a special place. Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest, connection, or a nature-based retreat!

Our family enjoyed glamping at Peaks so much! The tents were clean and inviting. The bathroom and showers are well lit and very clean. The drinking water they provide is delicious. We enjoyed the Frisbee golf, shooting hoops, fishing, and walking the trails. We did not take advantage of the activities that cost $$ but I'm sure they would be fun. The tents have electric in them so we took advantage of that as well. Plenty of firewood was provided. Definitely recommend this place!

Weekend Trip to Jack's Run , Glade Hill, VA
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Log Cabin on Virginia Farm, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, Shirley, our host, made us feel right at home. Her warm welcome and thoughtful personal touches truly set the tone for a relaxing getaway.
The cabin itself was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were fantastic! We loved spending our afternoons by the pool, exploring the scenic walking trails, and enjoying some friendly competition on the ball courts. The fire pits were the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.
Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with plenty of activities to enjoy, I highly recommend the Log Cabin on Virginia Farm. Thank you, Shirley, for being such a wonderful host! I can't wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at Sunset Spring Farms! The hosts were incredibly sweet and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Our original site canceled on the day of our trip, and with everywhere around Crabtree Falls fully booked, we were worried we wouldn't find a place. Fortunately, Bryce was super quick to respond and went above and beyond to adjust the 12-hour booking requirement so we could book immediately. The view overlooking the mountains was absolutely incredible, providing the perfect backdrop for our trip. Highly recommend this beautiful farm — a truly wonderful experience!

One of our favorite HipCamp destinations- just finished our third stay here. Beautiful setting, nestled in the woods next to a rushing stream and a waterfall. Totally off grid - cancel all calls and turn off the phone. Bring a good book or plan to hike the abundant nearby trails, especially Crabtree Falls. The ultimate in forest bathing.
Best for self contained campers; the only amenities are a fire pit, a tent platform (sans tent) and a plank for a shelf/table.

Another perfect weekend at Meili Mtn. How can you go wrong with an idyllic natural setting, total privacy and off the grid location ? Oh yeah, it was ten degrees cooler than northern Virginia! For those addicted to connectivity you can drive 30 minutes to the brewery to get your fix.

Great location near crabtree falls and the Priest Mountain and Spy Rock area. The land is beautiful the waterfall is amazing. Hard to beat that with the benefit of privacy. The wildlife camera is to the left of the shed for finding and covering - i’m not sure if there is one by the waterfall it’s hard to find if there is. The waterfall pool is deep enough to lounge in on a hot day. One of my favorite spots I have camped.

My husband and our two dogs loved our stay! The property is absolutely stunning! We made sure to wake up every morning for the incredible sunrise 🌅 It was very hot during our stay, but we were able to cool off in the pool and the AC was plenty for us to be comfortable while indoors. We mostly stayed by the pool because of the heat, but the barn and fire pit area were awesome! Everything was very clean and the kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our dogs loved the front porch and being able to walk/run off leash. Shirley was extremely respectful of our privacy, but also made sure to leave us a friendly note with her number if we needed anything at all. 10/10 recommend this hipcamp 😊
