Weekend Trip to Strawberry Hideout

We absolutely loved this property! The kids had a blast on the deck, and there was plenty of space for them and our dog to run around and play. The firepit was a great touch for cozy evenings, and we really enjoyed exploring some of the nearby trails with our ATV. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Mike’s Hipcamp! The site was as advertised—set in a unique and beautiful high desert landscape, offering incredible views and privacy. It’s a fantastic spot to disconnect and enjoy nature, especially at night when the stargazing is best. Mike was friendly and super helpful. He gave us great site recommendations based on our setup. Just a heads-up: you’ll need 4-wheel drive to access the more secluded spots on the backside of the property, which are totally worth it for the added privacy. If you don’t have 4WD, the upper area near the rock is still beautiful and accessible. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something off the beaten path with big skies, quiet nights, and a warm, knowledgeable host. We’ll definitely be back!

Really nice site and quiet. The pit toilet was super clean and nice to have at least some toilet for tent camping. The parking area was definitely big enough to have a small camper trailer.

Great place! Though when getting the coordinates, I had to do so through the hosts messages as the coordinates that you can share with other people are wrong so we actually went to a completely different location first. Still enjoyed the spot thoroughly but would recommend fixing those coordinates for future campers!

Weekend Trip to Hope Acres Glampground

We had such a great time! The campground was private but also very easy to find. The yurt was very cute and comfortable. Very clean and all equip worked perfectly. The caretaker is very nice and helpful. The owner is very communicative and professional, they gave very detailed instructions, making the trip very stress free. A perfect little slice of heaven that we see ourselves returning to over and over again!

The place was beautiful, and Mike was a great guy! He let us pick any place we wanted. The drive from the main road was a little rough so it took a while to get to, so we stayed put till checkout, but the place was worth it.

You can rent Paddle boards or other camping gear/goods from us for an extra fee. We also offer a personal off roading tour for those who seek a unique adventure with our Sand Dune Jeep Safari. Our family of 6 took the leap and left the city life in order to reconnect to the land on this 11 acre property. We are in the beginnings of our homestead journey and hope to create a space for guests like you to enjoy our animal rescue, camp retreats for groups, classes on herbalism and camp for kids where they can learn basic survival skills. It is this love for nature and the gifts that it offers to us all that we want to share our land with others. We currently offer 1 Tent Site with a fire pit and an outhouse. There is also a large flat pad for parking an RV or if you're wanting to camp out of your vehicle you are free to use this space. We will be expanding and offering more sites in the coming months. This is wilderness camping so be aware that there is wildlife and that roads are bumpy. We have 4 curious dogs that may check you out, they are friendly however may bark and if you have pets of your own let us know so we can keep them from pestering you.
