Boom, easy explanation. Now, on to the good stuff. In Utah, the St. George Field Office manages around 629,000 acres of land in Washington County. The environment out here is pretty dang unique, because it’s situated at the convergence of the Mojave Desert, the Great Basin, and the Colorado Plateau. Some plants and animals can only be found here in this unique area. Because it’s such a one-of-a-kind spot, the recreation opportunities are just as awesome. The BLM’s website describes them as “as diverse and challenging as the desert landscape.” We’ll raise a glass (or a tin camp mug) to that description! Easy sightseeing is an option, and hiking is another favorite activity for all levels. Mountain biking, rock climbing, and even canyoneering are all excellent ways to spend your time around St. George, too.

We're located 40 min from Kanab, 50 min from Zion National Park and 2 hours from Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon National Park and Page, AZ. We're on 7 acres of land (all accomodations are on ~2 acres of the land) in a very rural town but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides- one of which have cows, roosters and horses. We have 3 glamping tents and 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available for booking) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. We are currently in the process of adding 2 more accommodations, a silo and a cave, that will be available by Summer 2024. Each glamping tent and cabin is about 30 yards apart from one another. We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). We love sharing local hikes and secret spots so if you'd like tips on the area, send us a message!

Smells a little like horses, but it didn't bother me. Kind of across the street from the Buckskin, but nearby every amenity you would need in Kanab.

We loved camping at Bill's land. The views are a spectacle, the sites are far apart and very private, and the fire rings work perfectly. The road here was also very easy. In fact, we requested an extension to our stay! We loved it!

We loved the secluded set up of each camp site. The solar lights & walking paths were such a nice touch. Honestly this site was the best tent site I’ve been to. Will absolutely camp here again next Zion visit. It is about a 50 minute drive to the park which we really enjoyed not being in close camping quarters with others. The scenery is beautiful with other hiking trails within a 5 minute walk from the camp site. I can’t recommend this place enough for people looking for quiet tent camping with beautiful views.

The views are worth not having a picnic table. When we first arrived and left for Zion in the morning it was dark so we had no idea how amazing the view was, and I was actually 2nd guessing my choice of campground. But when we returned and saw the place in the day time .. OMG WOW!! IT WAS AMAZING!! We even watched the meteor shower our last night. The drive to the main entrance is a little far, but the drive isn't bad, you're there B4 you know it. We would definitely stay here again!!
