Our main house, 'La Casa de Joy,' is a stunning luxury straw bale villa (once featured on HGTV) that is truly the perfect gathering space for a variety of special occasions and memorable events. Originally built by an artist & healer, her creative intention and style is felt throughout the entire property.
Living Waters is blessed with an abundance of nature, including deer, birds, butterflies, crickets, hummingbirds, & more. You may wake up to the deer sleeping just outside your accommodation.
Indulge you and your group by taking advantage of our on-site private yoga, massage, personal training, and facial services, and kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddle board rentals. We recommend local activities such as a wine tasting at Stone House Vineyard (walking distance), a swim/picnic at Krause Springs spring-fed pool, or an eco-adventure at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

This RV spot offers the perfect blend of proximity to Austin's vibrant attractions and the comfort of a cozy neighborhood setting. Situated on the side of my house, the 80-foot long spot provides ample space for your RV adventures.
The entire lot is securely fenced in, granting guests exclusive access to amenities such as the pool, hot tub, and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8-foot tall side fence where your RV will be parked.
While my own RV won't be onsite during your stay, parking towards the back allows for privacy and the extension of awnings. Backing in is recommended, and though my 33-foot long RV fits comfortably, larger rigs may find maneuvering a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate.
There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV, and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are conveniently located on the back side of my house. Water is also accessible from the rear. While live sewer hookup isn't available, I offer convenient dumping options when the black tank is full.
Nestled in a charming, gentrifying neighborhood, expect the pleasant hum of city sounds (not overly loud) and glimpses of starlit skies. During your stay, I'll be residing in the house with my sociable dog, Toby. We'll be respectful of your privacy but available for any assistance you may need. Toby loves company, including other dogs, and has even been around cats with proper introductions. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a booking!

** Please note: Cell reception and wifi can be spotty. We're happy to point out the best "phone booth" spots for the former, and we are constantly working to improve the latter. We appreciate your patience as we perfect our little piece of the wild. That said, in the meantime, we do urge you to embrace the option to disconnect when possible. We've found it can be quite liberating to go missing for a little while :)

Digital Detox in the comfort and complete privacy of the whole Holler ! Robin's Nest is a real treehouse sitting atop 7 oaks in the Circle R holler. Our place is usually quiet, shaded and very very private. With wooded walking trails, three ponds in the holler, a canoe, 2 kayaks, firepit, hammocks and so much more. Only a quick jump from Hwy 183, you'll be close to all the amenities of Lockhart, the best BBQ in Texas. You'll have everything you need to enjoy your mini adventure. If you want to really know what the Robin's Nest experience is like, read the reviews. We Hope to see you soon at your escape in the woods of our Holler. One day won't be enough!

Wow! There is not one negative mention I can type out about our adventures at the beautiful and magical Robin’s Nest. Myself and my two young daughters were warmly welcomed by Shellie’s most thoughtful design of her secret hideout amongst the oaks. It was a quick drive from a busy day in Austin where the nature and quiet we’re so needed. Shellie has thought of everything for this amazing getaway. We could have gotten away with not bringing a thing. A quaint treehouse, overlooking a pond, nature all around, two more ponds a short stroll away. Our favorite part, the seclusion. An escape from the busyness and chaos of the world. Being able to cook dinner by the fire, hear the bullfrogs croaking and take a soak in the outdoor tub overlooking the evening. Do yourself a favor and invite the day with a grateful heart while showering in the open air shower. Sun rising, view of robins and chickadees while appreciating the whisper of the oaks all around. At Robins Nest we were explorers. We were artist, we were fisherman. We were silly, we were fun. We lived out every child’s dream, including my own inner child. We were storytellers. We were one with nature. We were dreamers. We disconnected and reconnected to ourselves and each other. I highly recommend this getaway and look forward to a visit once again.
