An Oasis in Mission Valley Texas that is the ideal weekend get away for the Primal Camper.
Fishing, Kayak easement, swimming, access to monitored short gun range, exploring the old homestead site, or even hunting arrowheads along the river, a stocked catch and release pond, and meals can be purchased at the time of Reservations..Just bring your Tent/s, and your personal beverages of choice. Burn pits are at each campsite, and there are several community pits. There is an archery range and an In Case You Forgot Store that carries most camping and cooking items,plus soaps, first aid kits and even some otc medications..ALL ON a secluded Ranch.
There are other events available at an extra cost.
Standard Camping starts at 35 USD per tent.

This was an amazing place - secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. I fed the turtles and fish in the creek a few yards away. Skull Tree was magical. I had to leave early for a personal emergency, but I'll definitely return. Hope you get to enjoy it!

We had a great time! Lots of space at Coyote Corner for a large group and Skull Tree is a pretty cool more intimate spot with a lot of shade. There was a nice peaceful spot to sit overlooking the creek. Outhouse was solid and had a solid toilet to sit on, very clean. It was nice seeing the cows up close and our dogs had a blast out there. Alana was a five star host and went above and beyond to take care of our needs. We look forward to booking there again soon.

We had a wonderful experience. The grounds were gorgeous and the perfect disconnect we were looking for. We loved that the property had horse, cows and a lot of armadillo. It was a short walk to the river. I'd definitely stay here again.

Was a great experience at the skull tree. Loved how many butterflies were around and the creek was nearby. Such a secluded site which id exactly what I wanted. The outhouse was also very convenient. Only issue I had was some noisy neighbors at the coyote corner that were playing loud music until 2ish in the morning.

I was for sure comfortable. Secluded with plenty of land, shade, & the river just across the fence. It really felt all to myself.
There’s a pit to cook over fire, a table, shade at the above area & a cool shaded spot near the water.
I felt relaxed, with much comfort from all the nature.

Had a blast at the Skull Tree campsite! Quiet, secluded, plenty of shade, and lots of greenery! Also, if you want a break from camp food for a meal, check out McMillan’s World Famous BBQ in Fannin just down the road!

We are Hiker trailer MRXL 5x9 camper owners which is made for off grid camping. James’s campsite was a fantastic spot to set up camp. The campsite was clean and well taken care of. We will definitely return. Due to the recent rain the Guadalupe River was high with a crest at 28 feet. We look forward to returning so we can enjoy the river next time.

This camp site is absolutely amazing, so much shade and right by the river. The river access is perfect for relaxing and staying cool. James is an amazing host, and made sure that we had everything we needed for our trip. I cant speak highly enough of this experience, site and host!

This site was phenomenal! The hosts were a delight and the site was pristine. The site had great shade with beautiful estalished trees and a beautiful view of acres of open land. The river was only a 2 minute walk from the camp site! The beach was private and the fish were plentiful.
We have already recommended the site to a few friends and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Very nice, remote campsite. Lots of space and open prairies with wildflowers and patches of oaks. Directions were clearly communicated and were clear on the ground once at the site. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again if I’m passing through the area!
