Main House Layout: First Floor: There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds. One of these rooms also has a sofa bed. There's also a TV room with another sofa bed. Additionally, two folding beds are available on this floor. Second Floor: There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a pop-up trundle bed (equivalent to two full-size beds). In the living room, there's another sofa bed. The house is set up to comfortably accommodate three couples, each with two children. There’s a gas barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables — perfect for a small family celebration or a quiet evening meal. We loved our stay, it was so fun! Well stocked cabin, we loved staying warm with the wood stove. We’re so glad there was plenty of fire wood ready for us to use. Our dogs loved running around the cabin. We caught bass and blue gill in the pond. I think as long as you’re prepared for an off grid stay, you’ll have a great time!

This spot is such a gem. We loved meeting the goats and chickens and seeing how lovingly curated they have made this space. Jeffrey was so kind and a wealth of knowledge about farming and gardening. Our dog had a ball playing frisbee with enough space to really run, and the RV was so spacious! Beautiful night of bon firing under the stars. We will definitely be back <3

It’s our first time to go camping w my son and discovered this serene and lovely cabin. Just fire up the generator and everything will light up for you and water overflows! I love the bed and the blankets, the books (esp ‘The Living on the Rugged edge’ by Charles Swindoll); small items like the mobile phone reset pin is there! Twas a really good rest w nature plus fishing time too. This is my dream cabin in the future. Well, overall we would like to recommend this for a good bonding time w your son. In fact, we are extending our stay for few more days. Thanks Sir Serapio, our host, for the kind help and excellent communication skills. He is always available everytime I have a question. Thanks again!

The stay at Randy and Cheryl‘s hummingbird retreat was fabulous. Had a great reunion with some old friends. Randy and Sheryl were fabulous house. They showed us around the place and told us about all the amenities of which there are many the hot tub the trails the movies, well stocked Cabin exercise room library the animals it was just a really great place to gather we all had a a great time and we’re able to relax and enjoy. Weekend Trip to Anchor Inn Marina and Resort

This place is absolutely beautiful!! A hidden gem that’s snuggled between tall trees and beautiful views of the lake. Being able to wake up to the sounds of water and a view of the lake, was always something I thought was only in movies. To have it a reality, was amazing and memorable. We traveled 6 hours to try this slice of heaven, and we would 100000% return. We stayed on a primitive camp site that was far from other guest, making the experience feel secluded and peaceful. Sure you get your occasional “frat boy style” parties passing by on boats late at night, blasting music, but they pass rather quickly, so it isnt enough to disrupt your stay. There are also fishermen that roll in late at night, but they stay clear of you and everything remains blissful. I can honestly say that staying here provided one of the most restful weekends ever!!! 10 out of 10 do recommend!!

Can’t say enough good things about this site and Jeffrey! If you’ve got kids and want them to experience camp life near DFW, this is the place. Fishing, outdoor games, goats, a greenhouse, and s’mores by the fire kept them busy the whole time. There’s WiFi and TV, but the kids didn’t care cause there was too much to do. If you have dogs it’s great to see them running and exploring too. Perfect mix of nature and comfort
