Come escape to a heavily wooded 31 acre pristine wildlife habitat. Only one hour east of Dallas but it feels like another world. At the end of a one lane rock road- this is a very secluded property. It is perfect for tent camping groups and individuals, has a very positive vibe and is more peaceful than most state parks. It adjoins a 950 acre wildlife park with 1200 exotic animals. Many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals.
Your host is Randall Oliver. He has been organizing group campouts for years and enjoys hosting, bringing people together and inspiring a love of nature, camping and paddling. Everyone is welcome and campers are treated like family. He can teach your kids to kayak and build a camp fire.
You can fish for largemouth bass, cat, crappy and bluegill in the two ponds and swim, paddle kayaks and paddle boards, hike the jungle trail and socialize around the campfires.
There are no designated campsites. You can camp anywhere except between the green building and the front pond. No vehicles are allowed back on the property. Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond.
The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house.
There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. Use of firepit and grill, kayaks and paddleboards, rod & reels, hammocks, swinging chair and tire swing is included. Firewood can be purchased $1 per stick

The house is set up to comfortably accommodate three couples, each with two children. There’s a gas barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables — perfect for a small family celebration or a quiet evening meal. Some of the most cherished moments at Infinity Paradise happen at night — sitting outside on the deck in the lakeside kiosk (kioske del lago), watching the stars light up the sky or enjoying the glow of a full moon reflected on the water. Please plan to arrive before dark, so you can get settled in the daylight. We do not have 24 hour staff.

If you would like a beautiful view of the winery property, ground camping throughout the vineyard is available and most popular ! There is quick access to our winery and food service if you prefer to relax under our covered patio, or pick up a rib eye or filet from the chef and cook it yourself on your propane grill our our community grill. Enjoy your hand crafted estate wine from TARA winery while camping under the stars. You can be among others or select a remote location. Fires permitted only in designed fire pits. No exceptions. We have 2 bathrooms and a solar heated shower near the trail head, camping also available near vineyard. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. is check-in time.

Don't let the address fool you, we are actually located only a few miles outside of Mansfield, Tx. We are about 30 minutes away from Joe Pool Lake, Six Flags, the Texas Rangers Ballpark, and Scarborough Renaissance Festival.
Our land is private land that has been in the family for many decades. We have a variety of events that happen here, including two festivals, one in September and one in November, November, so you will notice there are stages and even a saloon here on site. Cody and Ingrid were very friendly. The property was lovely. I camped on site #1 which is by the pond. You get serenaded by frogs in the night which is pleasant. I only stayed one night, but wish I would have stayed another night since it was very relaxing especially during long driving trip.

We loved camping here. This may be the best place you can camp that is less than an hour from downtown Dallas. Randall is an excellent host. Trails for small hikes with dogs and kids and a couple of ponds. Lots of wildlife. There is a safari place right across the street which is closed in the winter but we could see some of the animals walking around by the road. It was very cold and Randall had plenty of firewood at the site. Look forward to coming back in the summer when we can play in the lake and explore more.

Absolutely awesome! Beautiful property and Barry was an outstanding host. He went above and beyond to take care of us, and the value of our time there greatly exceeded the cost. We were going to be getting in late and it was going to be a super cold night, and because he had no other guests that night, he graciously offered to let us stay in the Daisy at no extra cost! This would never be an expectation, but it was very kind of him. It was very clean and obviously well taken care of. We wish we had more time there to hang out and soak it more up, but this was just a quick trip passing through for us. We hope to visit again sometime soon!

We especially loved the nearby pond, which was the perfect starting point for a beautiful trail that loops right back to the campsite. I had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The entire park is clean, very well lit, and clearly brand new, which makes a huge difference when arriving late or navigating a large rig. The parking pads and individual campsites are enormous, giving you plenty of room to get settled without feeling cramped. There’s also a large turnaround at the end of the drive, which makes orienting your camper super easy, and the main driveway offers plenty of space for backing in comfortably.
The hosts were incredibly kind, communicative, and thoughtful. When I was rushing to arrive before sunset, the host even hopped in her vehicle and guided me to my site to help me meet my goal of getting parked and set up before dark—such above-and-beyond service! There were also lots of clear flags and markers on arrival, which made finding the right turn a breeze.
One of the highlights of this location is the abundance of trees and natural shade. Shade can be so hard to find in the RV world, but not here—there are trees everywhere! Even the sites that are a bit more open still have several trees, so I imagine every spot gets at least some shade depending on the time of day.
If you’re looking for a quiet, spacious, well-maintained campsite with thoughtful hosts, I highly recommend this one. I’d absolutely stay again!
