We have always enjoyed camping, scuba diving and travel... anything outdoors. We made a promise that If ever given the chance to share that joy with others we would and make it a great experience. We searched and searched looked at a lot of properties North of the Woodlands, to build our home. On a Saturday morning, my husband told me about a dream of 3 very tall and Magnificent Trees, soaring way up in the sky. A few days later we were walking through the forest looking at a 20 acre tract of land for sale with our realtor, I'm thinking, "oh how would we ever get this cleared, this is a lot of work" Then, up ahead was a clearing and right in the middle were 3 of the tallest, most magnificent Cedar trees. They were perfectly planted standing side by side. We both looked at each other and said," Oh this must be it". The rest is history. Welcome to our beautiful and peaceful 25-acre retreat, nestled in the mesquite grasslands of Central Texas! We're conveniently located just 20 minutes from Waco and situated between Austin and Dallas. Our retreat is the perfect spot for weekend getaways for those seeking solitude and a chance to commune with nature.
Our retreat is only two hours away from Austin, making us a convenient stop for those attending SXSW or other Austin area destinations. We're also only 1 1/2 hours from the DFW area. Our retreat is perfect for tent campers, van lifers, tiny house travelers, and anyone who prefers a more natural setting than a traditional RV park may offer.
During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to sit by the pond and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. You can also hike across the grasslands and through the woods to see native birds like the beautiful Scissor Tail Flycatcher, Cardinals, Great Blue Herons, Yellow Eastern Meadowlark, Red Tail Hawks, and more. At night, the dark skies allow for excellent stargazing and communing with nature.
Our owners are passionate about sustainable living and preserving and protecting nature and wildlife. That's why we've left the landscape natural, with native plants and trees providing habitats for birdwatching and wild rabbits and armadillos. All the paths are mowed so you can walk to the pond for birdwatching without having to walk through tall grass.
You can refill your water jugs 50 feet from the pads, but We do Not have running water at the sites yet, we are in the final stages and hope to be complete by April, but as of now, No running water at the sites. We have full electric hookups for camper vans, tiny houses, and more, allowing you to plug in fans and heaters for tent camping. Solo stoves are welcome, or you can rent them from us if needed.

Welcome to M2 Ranch. We are a small working equine therapy and training operation housing a Non-Profit 501©(3) serving Veterans and their families. Come watch the horses rescued from the wild and gentled to be used for therapy and rehabilitation. We house Mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management and work closely with their conservation efforts.
We currently house guests 7 days a week and welcome the traveler. Come and stay with us for a night or a week. We have flexible arrival and departure times for travelers.
We are located 20 minutes outside Waco, in a beautiful ranch community surrounded by cattle ranches and thousands of acres of beautiful TX pastures. Magnolia Silos, Baylor University, and historic downtown Waco are all a 20-minute drive.
What we offer:
RV hookups, with 50-amp power, water, Wi-Fi, and access to the property. ($35 a night donation). RV must have a self-contained restroom.
We offer private horseback lessons, trail rides for the individual, and an on-site meet and greet with the horses. (Fees apply)
Pets are welcome on leash only.
