Property has been in family since 1987. The land has a rich history of wild boars and other wildlife. There is a live creek that runs along one of the property lines and is 50 ft deep. Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). It adjoins a 950 acre wildlife park with 1200 exotic animals. Many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals. Your host is Randall Oliver. He has been organizing group campouts for years and enjoys hosting, bringing people together and inspiring a love of nature, camping and paddling. Everyone is welcome and campers are treated like family. He can teach your kids to kayak and build a camp fire. You can fish for largemouth bass, cat, crappy and bluegill in the two ponds and swim, paddle kayaks and paddle boards, hike the jungle trail and socialize around the campfires. There are no designated campsites. You can camp anywhere except between the green building and the front pond. No vehicles are allowed back on the property. Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond. The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house. There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. Use of firepit and grill, kayaks and paddleboards, rod & reels, hammocks, swinging chair and tire swing is included. Firewood can be purchased $1 per stick

This was one of our best camping trips! My 7 year old grandson loved it. I felt safe about allowing him to be independent. The sites are beautiful. We stayed in the Tree House which was very quant and comfortable. Viewing the night sky from the deck was incredible. Rand is an amazing host! He is very friendly and informative. We would definitely do this again. My grandson said he can’t wait to bring his parents.

My family and I had a great time! Rick was a perfect host. We mentioned wanting to do some fishing, so he put us near the pond. We were able to catch some decent-sized largemouth bass and bluegill. At our camp, we were visited by many of the animals roaming around. Willie and Doc really enjoyed hanging around our camp.

Such a fun experience camping with the llamas! We had a great weekend here, and the charcuterie board was excellent and the perfect lunch for us on Saturday. The owners are super helpful and friendly, and the llamas make it so fun.

Weekend Trip to Willow Grey Ranch

We loved this spot! My dog is older now so it was really nice to have him be able to run around in a big field with soft grass. I put his booties on when we walked through the trails. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful, the woods are fun to explore, and the campsite is clean and private. Jamie was so welcoming. We will definitely be back here.

Lovely spot with shade trees and open, quiet land. We could hear the water fowl and water lapping in the lake behind the camp spot. We didn't see or hear anyone from when we arrived until we left. It was a calm place we needed to pause and reset.

Lamas everywhere, much touch, good fun. Good campsite, chose to camp outside enclosure but camping inside with the lamas is an option. I was worried they might be too pushy bit they were very friendly, only really pushed if you had food for them, then they'd surround you. Very large area, free to walk around, lovely vibes.

Weekend Trip to Fieldsong Farm

Fieldsong Farm was the perfect spot to introduce our two children (both under 4yo) to the camping experience! The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to slow down and enjoy time together. We loved how easy it was to set up and feel right at home — the open field, surrounding trees, and cozy atmosphere made it feel like the perfect little getaway even though it was only 10minutes from our house! The hosts were kind and welcoming, and everything was just as described. Our kids loved getting to meet the goats, dogs, and cats the next morning while getting a garden tour from Richard too. It was the ideal mix of nature, comfort, and simplicity. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Fieldsong Farm to any family looking for a special camping experience.

Weekend Trip to Northlake Village RV Park

My family and I were in town for a few days and booked this RV site because our usual place was full. We showed up after hours but the instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. The park was really full but surprisingly quiet. Park staff were super friendly; we recommend and would say here again.
