We loved staying at Friends in RV Spaces. It was in the country, on a beautiful piece of property. The hosts, Sarah and Sam, were very friendly. They made sure we had all the needed information about staying on their property, and asked us if we had any questions about the area. We will definitely stay there again if we come to the Fort Worth area.

In the description for this listing it says the campground is "a pastural oasis just a stones throw away fom urban convenience" and I found it to be just that. It's also a work in progress and I like what they're doing here. I'm a semi-retired van-lifer travelling wherever life takes me but DFW is my home base and it's great to find this place available for those times I need to be in town, this time being my granddaughter's upcoming Sweet 16 birthday. So if you need a relaxing break from the road, this is your place and Rod and Eddie will take care of you.

This is a great location for a safe place to stay! It is very conveniently located near the centre of Fort Worth with some really great scenery along the way. We met Sam - he’s a great guy, very friendly and very accommodating. We only stayed the one night in our month long trip across America, but loved it. If only we had sites like this back home in Australia! Do yourself a favour and pick this great little hidden gem.

They were very accommodating as we came in after midnight for check in. Eddie was waiting at the gate for us and was super nice in letting us in and showing us the site. Great place to rest your head for the night or spend some time there.

This small RV campground had everything I could possibly want. There was a huge open field to play in and throw the ball for Lucie. The sunset was gorgeous. The host, Gary was kind and informative. The neighbors were friendly. There were even cows to feed and horses to watch. The eclectic architecture and attractive decor kept me entertained for two days.

Weekend Trip to 4G Ranch at Tipps Lake

The campsite and view was gorgeous in late winter. It was nice to have so much green grass for the dogs to roam around on and thankfully no other guests came to the other sites so we had plenty of space all to ourselves. One thing that I wish was more clear in the listing was how residential it is. The houses/farms are pretty far off, but you do hear lots of barking dogs, car noise, etc. It's not terrible, but not good if you're a light sleeper or are wanting to be a bit more remote. Overall however, it's a nice getaway that's an easy drive from DFW and the view of the pond from the hillside is very picturesque.

Tent camping with family and friends was very relaxing at Susan’s land. The dogs, our son and everyone else enjoyed the quick nice weather get away before Texas 2nd winter hit! We have it saved to our favorites!

Was exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling. Although we only stayed for the night the location was really nice and in good condition. It was great having a fire pit in our site and being able to leave as early as we needed. For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
