Granbury Wine Walk and Winter Wine Walk in the Historic Granbury Square. Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road.
Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties.

Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Property is on the farm where I grew up about 9 miles northeast of Glen Rose off of Highway 67. It has various trees on property with cedar, live oak, post oak, etc. Campsites are in front of a wide waterfall which is about 5 feet in height. You can fall asleep with the sound of the waterfalls! We have three ground tent sites and two 14 by 14 deck sites if you want to be up off the ground. Each site has a fire ring and electricity.
There are well-marked trails across the creek which go to a meadow and a big treehouse I built several years ago. Glen Rose has several restaurants known for barbecue and Mexican food. Granbury is 25 minutes away with lots of shopping and restaurants around their historic town square. Glen Rose also has a town square.

Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. A cozy, private, 4+ acre camp, half a mile down a gravel/dirt road, set up on a creek across from the river. Off the beaten path, but just about 10 miles off I20. Gated entry with camera, bathhouse- all with private access to creek and river. RV spots also available with full hook ups, fire pit and picnic tables. Also 1 fully furnished camper for rent and tent spots. We are almost never full and have plenty of space. Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. You could even rent the whole campground! $10 pet fee (per pet per night), must be added as an Extra and under 20lbs. All guests must sign online liability waiver before arrival.

Beautiful camping along the Brazos river. Restrooms on site as well as outdoor shower. Power and water access but not at tent sites. Priority is given to musicians, volunteers, and their family/friends on Hippie Hoedown weekend. If this spot fills up, there is plenty of room to camp at Creekside and Riverside- walking distance. I first discovered the Brazos River back in 1985 looking for smooth water to ski on. And having developed so many great memories camping over the years, I can confidently say our resort is classic and old school. Change comes pretty slow on the Brazos.....and we happen to like it that way! Family, friends, kids and pets all love our amazing getaway; it's a rare gem best shared with good people.
Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. There is fire pit, gas grill (please don’t put charcoal in it) , diving board (when lake is full, ask or check if ok to use). No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. No toiletries are provided. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games are available if requested, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. Wi-Fi is now available but no cable television. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. I had a great time at the little off lake house with my dog. There was plenty of room for him to run and explore off leash. The lake and the boat were amazing too. Lots of privacy, but the host checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed! The house itself did indeed have everything you could want. Thanks Kellie and Lindell for a great weekend and I hope to come back soon!

Although our stay was cut short due to not being prepared for the night cold, we had an amazing time. Our pups especially loved this location due to the ability to roam and explore without many distractions. We plan to come back once it’s a little bit warmer and taking full advantage of this beautiful site!

Great quick getaway! All the animals were so cute, Ms Amy was very welcoming. She helped us navigate to the proper entrance and led us to our campsite. We added on wood for our stay and she brought it over to us quickly. The bathrooms were a short walk from our site. We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Friends in RV Spaces, definitelyexcellent value for money. Even though we were travelling in a campervan without hookups, the site had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the WiFi near the little red building was fast and reliable. After spending time in the big cities of Texas, it was such a refreshing change to relax in a peaceful, green space with dark night skies and true country quiet.
Sam greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. He showed us around the farm and was interesting to chat with. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Fort Worth, we’d highly recommend it.

It was easy to find the location & your own numbered campsite. Each area has a clear flat space for your tent, a fire ring, and constant 12v power socket + two 2.1amp USB ports, and temporary 110ac if you enable it.
There is a shared washroom with 2 stalls. One has a urinal, toilet, and shower. The has just a toilet. Outside the stalls is a sink.
All the campsites are close to each other, so I imagine it would be great for large groups with their own tents. It was a quiet weekday, so I pretty much had the entire area to myself, but mostly kept to my own area.
The area is a covered forest (mostly cedar, some oak) and is beautiful. You can hear the close waterfall and the distant highway. When it gets dark, there are no lights around, so plan to bring some if you want to see after sunset. You can see the stars very well if you walk towards the water.
There is a hiking trail across the water. There are maps in the washroom building. There was a yellow rope to mark the trailhead. Watch your step. The meadow, trail, and treehouse are all quite lovely.

Beautiful and peaceful as always! We love returning to this site because it's easy to get to and the creek and land are a great place to explore and be in nature The night we stayed it was perfect weather and the moon was full so it really lit up the area. We saw deer several times and our dog lived chasing minnows in the creek. My girls think the trees are the best for climbing, especially the ones with vines you can swing on.

Wow! This place is spectacular! The waterfall is the eye catcher…but the entire set up is a whole new level of camping! Every site had power, trash cans, and the facilities were very well built! The wagon to bring your stuff from parking lot to site was a very nice touch! It was my son’s first camping trip, and this has set a very high bar! We will be back to explore the creek and enjoy the waterfall’s magic sounds!
