Come stay in our sweet semi off grid cabin just between Austin and Marble Falls Tx. Near beautiful Lake Travis. There’s a short somewhat steep hike from the parking area by the road up to the cabin. Again the trail is steep and approximately 30 yards long. Keep this in mind because your belongings will have to be carried up the trail. If you have 4x4 you can drive up top closer to the cabin. This is a glamping experience and you will need sleeping pads, bags and pillows. We do not provide bedding. The cabin sleeps 4. 2 on the futon and 2 (preferably kids sized humans) up in the loft. There is electricity but no running water, so bring water. There a/c heat and a mini fridge/freezer. Also a sweet vintage hifi system with a good vinyl collection. Turkey Bend recreation area on Lake Travis it’s just a couple of miles down the road. Marble Falls and Austin are both about the same distance away approximately 17 miles. Hidden Falls adventure Park is approximately 7 miles away. Lago Vista Texas is the closest city with restaurants and gas stations and grocery stores. This property is on a dirt road and light pollution in minimal so this is a great place to stargaze! The parking area is also dirt and somewhat uneven. Ten-plus acres with trails and backing up to a working farm. Easy access to the Texas Wine Trail, with lots of great restaurants in Johnson City. Only 5 miles from Pedernales State Park (water seen in photos), enjoy undisturbed, beautiful hill country scenery and amazing sunsets. It's only a five-minute drive to Johnson City and about a 30-minute to Fredericksburg. Drive right up to your campsite—lots of live oak trees to choose from for shade. We have lots of Adirondacks to sit in throughout the property as well as a propane fire pit with Adirondacks that you can sit in for a fire pit experience. It is very dark at night and the stars are amazing.

Perfect hybrid camping spot where you can rough it without plumbing while enjoying a cozy indoor with electricity. Complete with a perfect campfire setup and gas grill if you choose. My boy and I actually pitched a tent on the deck, which was perfect!

Wonderful location, beautiful view, peaceful day and night. During our stay the area was hit by historical flooding. Despite this situation being outside of Laura's control, she constantly provided updates regarding weather, the restoration of power, and kept us apprised of road conditions and provided us the best window of time to make our exit and return to home. Fortunately, given the location, we were at an elevation that ensured our safety and piece of mind. I highly recommend a stay at this property and we will definitely be back. P.S. - Note - Laura at Loving Heart Retreats even provided a place to stay at the retreat to a gentleman that was stuck on the mountain due to flooding. This furthers my confidence that this truly is a loving heart operation! Thanks for everything, Laura.
