Learn more about this land: I'm not in the middle of nowhere, but my neighbors all have at least 3-5 acres.  It's always quiet out here, except for the birds and occasional coyote in the distance.  I have what Hipcamp calls a flexible cancellation policy.  Simply cancel on the site 24 hours prior to your check in for a full refund.

For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

Another great trip to 4G ranch. Site was freshly mowed and clear directions on how to get there. Enjoyed the proximity to the fishing. My 12 year old loved being able to just walk on down there to cast his line. Will be back again soon!

The campsite and view was gorgeous in late winter. It was nice to have so much green grass for the dogs to roam around on and thankfully no other guests came to the other sites so we had plenty of space all to ourselves. One thing that I wish was more clear in the listing was how residential it is. The houses/farms are pretty far off, but you do hear lots of barking dogs, car noise, etc. It's not terrible, but not good if you're a light sleeper or are wanting to be a bit more remote. Overall however, it's a nice getaway that's an easy drive from DFW and the view of the pond from the hillside is very picturesque.
