Being born and raised in Thailand, great Thai food was was on every corner. She went to the Asian Markets and bought the ingredients and cooked. Something was still missing. Of course what is missing is the Thai fresh food markets that are very common in Thailand. I have stayed here several times. Our host Jennifer is the absolute best. The property is well maintained in great proximity to the beach, the ferry, food, and groceries.
If you need to escape for a weekend or you need a Basecamp for a week long galveston adventure, this is the place to stay.

I think I found a hidden gem for the price of a piece of coal. This camp ground thought of it all. Clean, convenient, and quiet. I was able to relax and reorganize in the midst of my trip. I will definitely mark this as a place to stop again. Tip: book through hip camp for the deal.
The address takes you across the street onto a narrow road. Watch for their sign.

Stella Mare is a very nice location, very clean or organized! Staff are very nice and welcoming.
One thing to note is that there isn't tons to offer, but they do keep their pool open year around, they have a pool heater which is cool.
They have a bar but it wasn't open the whole time we stood there.
I hope they work on offering more stuff for us RV folks :)

We had a great time here. Cherise was really hospitable and greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around. In the morning we had scheduled for the complimentary animal feeding and the experience was awesome. Cherise met us at the barn as scheduled at 9 AM sharp and provided us with a good amount of treats for all the farm animals. It was really nice to be able to give the donkeys, goats, Horse, horses, miniature cow, and chickens their morning breakfast. Cherise even allowed my two siblings a ride on one of the horses which we thought was really nice and a great experience for the kids. Oh, and she has a really beautiful turkey and peacocks on site as well. Overall, we had a fun time here and would definitely love to come back to check out the glamping tent.
