The property is right outside of Abilene. About 15 minutes, Southwest. it is 10 minutes from the Abilene state park where you can visit Lake abilene and hit up many of the mountain trails. Absolutely loved it! It was clean & quiet, with plenty of places to walk/explore. Samantha and everyone were very friendly and helpful. The horses were very friendly. The sunsets over the water are gorgeous. It’s a dark place, but I went on a full moon. It was beautiful. Overall, a great place for a relaxing getaway..

1 night at Jim Ned River Front Getaway

Stopped in on a Monday night. a trip from NM to Austin. 30 ft truck camper. I was looking for somewhere off the major highways and that’s what i found. I travel with 100 pound golden retriever and she approved of the river and acre of grass. Nice host, lovely site. I will go back.
