There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. The camping area was clean, spacious and well-maintained, with fire pits and trash cans provided. With amenities such as flushing toilets and hot showers, we will definitely be returning, during Steampunk November (the event held near the camping grounds) and for other events nearby.

The camp grounds are very nice and fairly well thought out. A little difficult to know where to go but once you figure out the layout it's a little easier. I love that it was just a short walk from most of the campsites to the restrooms. A little more info about what to expect and also where the showers were located would help. Showers were fair except the wooden backsplash was kinda gross. Oh well. I'm just glad there were showers with hot water etc. Would def recommend and will def return

We were very close to the showers and the toilet. There was a large trashcan right at the campsite. Even though the hipcampers were relatively close to one another in proximity, the cedar grove of trees provided a lot of privacy, it was very peaceful and quiet the Sat night we stayed.

Sherwood was a very accommodating and communicative host. The grounds were very clean and just as described. The water park was inactive due to the off season, and staying here made us want to come back when the park is fully operational. Great location only about 16 min to the Stockyards. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I loved camping at Lake Godstone. It was clean, well kept, just as advertised. The property is beautiful and great for stargazing. The cabins/ amenities were very well kept and comfortable. We felt safe and secluded out there. We will definitely be going back.
