Weekend Trip to The Hive Yurt Retreat

Such a lovely place! We have stayed in many rental units over the years, but this was our first yurt (we are usually tent campers) and it was Wonderful. Clean and well kept with every detail considered. Bathrooms are easily accessible and also clean and welcoming. Sauna is the Best! (and they even provide bathrobes)! Despite the quick Texas-style weather change (from 75 to 40 overnight), we were warm and cozy inside. Our weenie dog even felt like she was home.

I had a great time "glamping". The yurt was so nice. Mandy was SO accommodating and flexible. She had no problem upgrading us to another tent because the AC was on the fritz temporarily. What a cool place.

The park is clean and everyone is so welcoming! Within walking distance of Dinosaur World Lots of activities for all ages. Pools are very nice —a little cold—but nice! The sites are great with full hookups and nice grass area
