The space Make your tiny home dreams come true - vintage style with modern touches! Our 1955 Traveleze was born and raised in Los Angeles just before getting a makeover and retiring to Texas at the age of 62-years-young. The bed is a comfortable futon opposite a padded bench seat with storage underneath with extra linens, just in case. You'll find all the pillows, sheets, and comforter in the small closet to the right of the bathroom door (the one with the clocks on it). The bathroom with shower, toilet, and extras is located at the end of the trailer behind the door with the mirror. One of the coolest pieces in the trailer is the original 1950's gas stove - that still works! Just turn on the gas and use the lighter to light the flame (let us know if you if you need help).The A/C and the electric water heater work very well. We have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle right next to the trailer or you can park on the street, whichever you prefer. The trailer is stationed in the back corner of our backyard, but is fenced off from the rest of the yard for your privacy. There are no working security cameras on the premises. PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-size trailer, so the shower and bed are small and may not be comfortable for guests over 5' 10". The trailer is 21 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about six feet and three inches tall on the inside. Guest access You can access the driveway, parking spot, and fenced in Trailer space. The arboretum across the street has a few miles of gorgeous trails to enjoy!

This was such a dreamy stay in the yurt village. My lover and I lucked up and had the place to ourselves. Everything was immaculately CLEAN! The interior design in the yurt was so cute! We had everything we could've needed in our space. My dog was in heaven running around near the lake and frolicking. I was nervous about the bathrooms but they were spotless and odor free. We had the most relaxing time. Mandy is super responsive and attentive as a host. We were always in great hands. I cannot rave enough about this stay! 10/10 recommend.

We loved our weekend a Country Woods Inn. The airstream was as cute and cozy we had hoped. Breakfast in the barn was delicious. It even included carrots for the donkey and horse that joined us! We had a great time… We have already referred others…. We will be going back.

We spent our time exploring the property, hanging with the animals, watching the wildlife, and making s'mores at the fire pit. The camper itself is well equipped (real toilet!) but is also 75+ years old and shows her age in some places. We were thankful for the AC as we stayed during June.

We had so much fun!! The location is great! It is so close to the riverwalk and downtown but feels so secluded! We love the deer, horses, and friendly donkey! The fireflies were awesome! I haven’t seen them like that since I was a kid. The airstream is rustic but cozy. We will be coming back!

The Hive Retreat is simply magical! When my niece asked to go camping for her birthday I wasn't sure how I, a non-camping person, could make that happen. The Hive was the perfect solution. We could make a fire for hot dogs and s'mores. Enjoy the stars and a sunrise over the pond. Wake up to natural light through the skylight but also be in comfortable beds when we did. The restrooms were wonderful, and the hospitality and details Mandy puts into each stay is spectacular. It truly feels above and beyond at every turn. We cannot wait to go back and are already recommending The Hive to friends!

The cabin was very clean and well appointed. All of the basics including linens were provided. This is a large RV resort with an adult pool and a family pool, which is nice. It is directly across the street from dinosaur world, a walk-through dinosaur park with over 75 life-size dinosaur replicas. The state park allows you to view real dinosaur footprints, along with swimming, biking, hiking opportunities. Very close to Glen Rose for supplies. Fossil rim, a drive-through nature zoo, is minutes away. Definitely kid and family friendly RV park.

We love everything. The camper was small but cozy and got everything we needed. We were impressed by the bathe style, it was really cool and again it got everything we needed. The whole place was really clean and quiet. Really good for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the bed truck for stargazing. The location is awesome, 15 mins from meridian state park which was also a nice place. Julia was so nice and responsive. She responded to my message quickly and answered all my questions.

Such a lovely place! We have stayed in many rental units over the years, but this was our first yurt (we are usually tent campers) and it was Wonderful. Clean and well kept with every detail considered. Bathrooms are easily accessible and also clean and welcoming. Sauna is the Best! (and they even provide bathrobes)! Despite the quick Texas-style weather change (from 75 to 40 overnight), we were warm and cozy inside. Our weenie dog even felt like she was home.

First it is better looking in person. I loved the out building that we were able to use. There was indoor and outdoor shower which was nice. The cats stayed with us the entire time and escorted us around the property. I don’t really care for cats that much but those cats had me considering getting some. The camper had everything we needed. Thanks for the grill and checking to make sure we had clean towels. Beautiful place

The Santa Fe car is at the edge of a meadow and some woods, with a cluster of other accommodations ranging from campsites, airstreams and a cabin where a hostess cat lives who greets all the guests. She came knocking on our door and stayed with us, to our delight, throughout our stay. And there is no extra charge for vacation kitty! The train car is cleverly outfitted with all the comforts and everything you need for them: cooking pots and utensils, dinnerware, wine glasses and corkscrew. The hot water is steaming. The small refrigerator was plenty big enough for us and has a freezer shelf with two mini cube ice trays, but for larger groups consider bringing in some ice with you. The bunk beds are as steady as trees and so roomy under the canopy that only the very tall might have to bend to clear it. For us, it was like a small room. The mattresses are both soft and supportive. A town vendor said the car had been outfitted and adorned for the owner’s grandchildren, and we certainly benefitted from the thoughtfulness, playfulness and considerations that have been lovingly put into it. A small jar is offered for collecting fireflies darting outside. We gladly unplugged with no WiFi or tv signal there, when there were so many books, games and dvds for entertainment. Instead though we opted for star watching, deer spotting, and loving on the petting animals at the main hub. We plan to return often for the rest and rejuvenation we found easily in the woods by the river
