The space

Our 1955 Traveleze was born and raised in Los Angeles just before getting a makeover and retiring to Texas at the age of 62-years-young. The bed is a comfortable futon opposite a padded bench seat with storage underneath with extra linens, just in case. You'll find all the pillows, sheets, and comforter in the small closet to the right of the bathroom door (the one with the clocks on it).
The bathroom with shower, toilet, and extras is located at the end of the trailer behind the door with the mirror. One of the coolest pieces in the trailer is the original 1950's gas stove - that still works! Just turn on the gas and use the lighter to light the flame (let us know if you if you need help).The A/C and the electric water heater work very well.
We have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle right next to the trailer or you can park on the street, whichever you prefer. The trailer is stationed in the back corner of our backyard, but is fenced off from the rest of the yard for your privacy. There are no working security cameras on the premises.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-size trailer, so the shower and bed are small and may not be comfortable for guests over 5' 10". The trailer is 21 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about six feet and three inches tall on the inside.

The space
Make your tiny home dreams come true - vintage style with modern touches!
Our 1955 Traveleze was born and raised in Los Angeles just before getting a makeover and retiring to Texas at the age of 62-years-young. The bed is a comfortable futon opposite a padded bench seat with storage underneath with extra linens, just in case. You'll find all the pillows, sheets, and comforter in the small closet to the right of the bathroom door (the one with the clocks on it).
The bathroom with shower, toilet, and extras is located at the end of the trailer behind the door with the mirror. One of the coolest pieces in the trailer is the original 1950's gas stove - that still works! Just turn on the gas and use the lighter to light the flame (let us know if you if you need help).The A/C and the electric water heater work very well.
We have a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle right next to the trailer or you can park on the street, whichever you prefer. The trailer is stationed in the back corner of our backyard, but is fenced off from the rest of the yard for your privacy. There are no working security cameras on the premises.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-size trailer, so the shower and bed are small and may not be comfortable for guests over 5' 10". The trailer is 21 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about six feet and three inches tall on the inside.

We sit on 3.5 acres with trails to explore. The property is fenced in, so you won’t accidentally wander off. When we moved here three years ago, the trails were very rough; we’ve been slowly improving them.
They’re by no means spectacular, but they’re fun — especially for kids looking for rabbits, roadrunners, toads, deer, and who knows what else. There are no creeks, ponds, or other water features, just good old dirt!

Weekend Trip to The Hive Yurt Retreat
The Hive Retreat is simply magical! When my niece asked to go camping for her birthday I wasn't sure how I, a non-camping person, could make that happen.
The Hive was the perfect solution. We could make a fire for hot dogs and s'mores. Enjoy the stars and a sunrise over the pond. Wake up to natural light through the skylight but also be in comfortable beds when we did.
The restrooms were wonderful, and the hospitality and details Mandy puts into each stay is spectacular. It truly feels above and beyond at every turn.
We cannot wait to go back and are already recommending The Hive to friends!

Weekend Trip to Dinosaur Valley RV Park
The cabin was very clean and well appointed. All of the basics including linens were provided. This is a large RV resort with an adult pool and a family pool, which is nice. It is directly across the street from dinosaur world, a walk-through dinosaur park with over 75 life-size dinosaur replicas. The state park allows you to view real dinosaur footprints, along with swimming, biking, hiking opportunities. Very close to Glen Rose for supplies. Fossil rim, a drive-through nature zoo, is minutes away. Definitely kid and family friendly RV park.

Weekend Trip to The Tailgate Ranch
We love everything. The camper was small but cozy and got everything we needed. We were impressed by the bathe style, it was really cool and again it got everything we needed. The whole place was really clean and quiet. Really good for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the bed truck for stargazing. The location is awesome, 15 mins from meridian state park which was also a nice place. Julia was so nice and responsive. She responded to my message quickly and answered all my questions.

Weekend Trip to The Hideaway Ranch and Refuge
This was an amazing place to stay! The animals were a little ilusive however it was a lot of fun hiking on their trails, which were very well maintained, to try and find them. We ended up seeing a llama and horses not to mention the beautiful Texas hill country sunset. They have incredible views here and get bonus points for their easy checkout process and sustainability efforts.

Such a lovely place! We have stayed in many rental units over the years, but this was our first yurt (we are usually tent campers) and it was Wonderful. Clean and well kept with every detail considered. Bathrooms are easily accessible and also clean and welcoming. Sauna is the Best! (and they even provide bathrobes)! Despite the quick Texas-style weather change (from 75 to 40 overnight), we were warm and cozy inside. Our weenie dog even felt like she was home.

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. We really need to come back here again soon.

First it is better looking in person. I loved the out building that we were able to use. There was indoor and outdoor shower which was nice. The cats stayed with us the entire time and escorted us around the property. I don’t really care for cats that much but those cats had me considering getting some. The camper had everything we needed. Thanks for the grill and checking to make sure we had clean towels. Beautiful place
