Our experience at the place was spectacular. It should be noted that there "THERE ARE BATHROOMS", THERE ARE also SHOWERS. The attention was spectacular. The place is very clean. I just want to emphasize that the entrance is until 7pm. So if you plan to go camping you must arrive before 7pm. I recommend this place 100%

Julie‘s ranch was a truly restful haven for us. We actually came to watch the blues Festival in Navasota, but ended up just hanging out at the ranch listening to the coyotes and owls and relaxing by a fire. Communication was really good, and Julie met us at the check-in with a friendly smile and gracious hospitality. We did end up having a visit from their ranch dog, which was a ton of fun! I can highly recommend a visit here.

We found site 19 to be large enough to move a 33’ RV around and secluded enough to enjoy our outdoor stay. The hosts were great and the site was clean and well maintained. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The trail system is well marked and offers nature at its intended dose. This truly is a relaxing experience. We appreciate the hospitality.

Sandra was extremely helpful and accessible at all times. The place was incredibly peaceful, welcoming and everything was very clean and well kept.
I especially loved how quiet the place was and how sweet and loving the furry creatures (dogs, cats and horses) on the farm were!

Weekend Trip to Outpost 203 - Camp & Glamp
I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Outpost 203, renting the Vintage Camper, and I can't recommend this experience enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming retro design of the camper, which offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The camper was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy our time in nature. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the forest was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The nearby hiking trails and beautiful scenery provided endless opportunities for exploration and adventure.
In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows, all while soaking in the stunning starlit sky. The sense of community at Outpost 203 was evident, with fellow campers sharing tips and experiences, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
If you're looking for a weekend getaway that combines comfort with the beauty of the outdoors, I highly recommend Outpost 203 and their Vintage Camper. It’s the perfect escape for anyone wanting to recharge and connect with nature. You won't be disappointed!

I was there to celebrate the Gotcha Day anniversary of my pandemic rescue, and my sister came along to help celebrate. We stayed at site #19, which was closest to the pond, nicely shaded, and really spacious. We had a really nice, relaxed time at the campsite and at the pond, very chill. Both days we had the whole pond to ourselves, paddling around with my dog! We also got to hang out with the resident dog, Quigley, who stayed with us at our campsite and camped out with us the entire weekend. I tried hiking a bit of the Red/Pink Trail, but the outer loop was overgrown and had no shade, so definitely stick to the shaded parts, which were better maintained and easier to walk through.

My dog and I enjoyed a quiet peaceful visit to Magnolia Gardens and were so relaxed walking along the San Jacinto River while the train made its way across the old trestle bridge at the far end of the park. Very nice place and the sunset over the river was icing on the cake! Thanks!

What a great short drive get away from the city! Very peaceful, clean and fantastic hosts!! As I was grilling a nice steak, I felt a bit guilty as I heard a faint “moo”. But my guilt quickly dissipated once I started eating the steak. Definitely will be back! Thanks again Julie for a great stay!

Such an amazing time we had at the Ranch, I will always come back, I will always bring more people, I will always talk about it, more people need to know about it and come, with respect and love for everything that there is in this campgrounds but also for the profound reconnection to nature you can get from it, being only a few hours away from our major Texas cities, thank you 5D Fam.
Shoutout to the guardian dog Quigley, if you feel like taking a walk and he happens to be around, ask him to guide you, he knows where to go.

I love tent camping on Julie’s ranch. This is my family of 16+ 3rd time camping on this property and it only gets better and better. This time we actually swam in the lake for the first time. The water was warm and there was a lot of beautiful treasures the kids was finding in the water. Everything was nice. Nothing to complain about. Quigley came by as usual to see us especially on the last night he stayed guard over us he was sad we had to leave and rained down the path behind us.
