Family owned and operated for over 20 years, enrolled with the Northeastern Alabama Cherokee Tribe. Things to do around the area, Fall Creek Falls State Park. Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Rockies. While at the park enjoy the cascades, gorges, waterfalls, hiking, fishing, golf, boating rental, bicycling, picnic, playgrounds, basketball court, softball field, snack bars and enjoy the nature. We are less than 1 hour away from Rock Island State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park. Located in Van Buren County, within a 30-minute drive. The Fall Creek Mennonite community has a variety of small businesses (seasonal produce, garden center, greenhouse, fabric, metal shop, warehouse and general store) in their community. Also, on the way to Fall Creek Mennonite community is Fall Creek Falls Riding Stables. They provide a guided horseback tour through the woods. It normally takes an hour. Spencer is a small town, with 2 convenience store, 1 Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, Dollar General, a café open Tuesday-Friday (times vary) and subway.

Little Bone Cave campground is in the mountains of Tennessee with hiking trails and a beautiful view located on 16 acres. This campground adjoins Bone Cave State Natural Area located in Van Buren County. Big Bone Cave is a 400 acre natural area with trails and a cave that contained bones of a giant ground sloth discovered in 1811 and is maintained by Rock Island State Park. The cave is not currently open to the public. Rock Island State Park (swimming, fishing and hiking) is only 6 miles from the campground and Fall Creek Falls State Park (swimming, fishing, hiking and home of the Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival) is a beautiful 25 mile drive through the winding roads and mountains of Van Buren county. A public boat ramp maintained by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is two miles away to access the Caney Fork River. Come enjoy with friends and family. Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). We now have rv hook up with a 30 amp electric service, sewer and water available. We have wildlife such as bobcats, coyotes, deer, owls, snakes, turkeys and rumor has it, maybe even a bigfoot. Chattanooga is approximately 45 mins SE while McMinnville is about 30 mins NW. The Caverns, a wonderful music venue is about 40 mins away. Nashville is approximately 1hr 45mins NW.

Stayed one night in the dry camping area. Easy place to get to. Wonderful sounds of owls hooting and coyotes howling through the night. Bring about 3-4 inch of leveling blocks since the ground is has a slope to it. Ground is more level towards the street but gets steeper as you get closer to the trees.

I was so pleased with my stay at this site! Tabitha was very responsive, and the campground was very clean and quiet. The little shelter at site 1 was so lovely, and was only about a 30 foot walk from a very clean porta potty! The rock bench and fire ring added a wonderful touch, and they provide a garbage can and offer to take the trash for you upon your departure. I am absolutely going to come back and stay here again.

Melissa’s land is a slice of paradise! The campsite had many options for entertainment including many chairs, a grill, a large fire pit, two hammocks and more! The host was very welcoming and the view was out-of-this-world gorgeous. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!

The campground was clean and well-kept; fire area and table were very helpful for beginners. The area was such a wonderful experience for a first time camper! I would recommend this place for anyone who wants the full camp experience but with amenities. It is close to many popular falls such as Cummins Fall State Park and a convenience store down the windy road! The location is so pretty! Owner/host was responsive and accommodating, satisfactorily.

This is one of those places that has that rare combination of easy access, privacy, a stunning view and hookups so you don’t have to boondock. Not only that, you can set up your rig just about anywhere on the site depending on your needs or preferences and the lengths of your hoses and power cable. There are two metal fire rings, with one well suited for cooking if that’s what you’re in to. Around the other fire ring are six, comfortable Adirondack style chairs. Two hammocks were set up nearby. There is an outhouse on the western edge of the site. We didn’t need to use it, but I checked it out and it is clean and well kept. Don’t be afraid to use it if you need to. There’s also a spiral bound notebook and pen so you can enter comments and read what others have said if you want. You can gather firewood on site, but I’d really recommend you bring your own, either locally sourced or kiln dried so invasive pests aren’t inadvertently brought to the site. The water pressure on the site was a bit low, (~ 20psi) so we chose to fill our fresh water tank and use our rig’s pump for better pressure. Melissa is a great host and obviously takes pride in maintaining her site. I’d 100% recommend this little slice of paradise for anyone wanting to escape the crowds, find solitude, enjoy dark skies and the sounds of crickets at night, and all without having to navigate bumpy dirt roads. Oh… one other thing. Bigfoot saw me but nobody believed him.

We loved our stay at Site 1. We enjoy a bit of privacy from other sites while camping and we were able to have that at Site 1. Also really appreciated the shelter during the rain. And host brought a huge pile of free firewood for us. Very big thank you for that!! We love our fires! Overall, a very nice stay. I would stay at site 1 again, but not the others because they are too close together for us. We did hear noise from the road, but we live in a city so wasn't bothersome for us and at nighttime/late night it’s quiet. For ice/firewood- there is a gas station .5 miles away, but I recommend the general store in fall creek falls state park. Bigger wood bundles at a good price. And general store is stocked with tons of forgotten/needed items (gas station selection was limited).

Very convenient tent camping spot just outside of Fall Creek Falls State Park, South entrance. The site was very shaded, clean, had a cool rock table, a fire ring and a port-a-potty nearby. Site 5 was slightly sloped but still level enough for a medium sized tent. I booked last minute and was greatful to find an open spot. Good value, thanks.

We recently stayed 4 days at this campsite. The location was peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The site was very clean and well kept. It also made a great base camp for exploring nearby attractions. It’s just a short drive to Twin Falls and not far from Fall Creek Falls, which were both absolutely amazing and worth the trip. And just a short walk to Bone Cave Trail. The only downside was the overwhelming number of stink bugs around the campsite and even inside, which made relaxing a bit difficult. Overall, the area is beautiful, but be prepared for the bugs. This is probably a seasonal issue and definitely nothing to do with the property at all. But not to worry a ton of them traveled all the way back to Alabama with us just in case we hadn’t had enough there. I would definitely recommend this site for anyone wanting to get away and enjoy nature!

Good places to set up a backpack tent.......I did however choose a campsite because it was so beautiful! Steep walk from the parking area to Creekside#2. Be prepared to carry all items. Worth the walk! I will be returning. Hostess is very attentive and firewood delivery is nice! Thalia again!

Had the most amazing time at fall creek falls indian campground. We stayed at campsite 1 and it was very peaceful and well maintained. Easy to find and just outside of fall creek falls state park. Tabitha was very helpful and a great host. I will definitely be camping there again.
