This is a gem!!! This little apartment is exactly what we needed for a few days away. Krys has stocked it with everything you need to plus a few extras. The bed was comfy, the fridge and freezer was the perfect size. Loved the air fryer/ toaster oven. Coolest bathroom ever. We LOVED all the puppy and kitty cuddles. Krys was a joy to hang out with. We had 4 families staying at the property and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and the adults to relax. My buddy and I had a great weekend getaway to relax at the Woodsman Cabin at Starr Mountain Retreat on 23 acres in the Cherokee National Forest near Reliance, Tennessee. This place is the real deal. It is quiet, private, and surrounded by woods with that perfect peaceful vibe. The cabin is spotless, well laid out, and seriously comfortable. The queen bed in the main bedroom and the twin beds up in the loft were both very comfortable. They have literally thought of everything. There is a full kitchen, gas fireplace, grill, and all the little details that make it easy. You could literally show up with just a suitcase and feel like you’re checking into a hotel room. No scrambling for basics. They even had an abundance of dry firewood ready, and they thought of the little things like dry kindling in a bucket ready for use. The fire pit served us well for some great evenings chilling out. The owners were responsive, and it really shows in how well the place is set up. We felt that the advertisements for this location actually undersell just how excellent it is. This is a first-class spot in the woods. Already talking about coming back. Highly recommend it for any guys looking for a solid relaxing getaway. Thanks Nola and Brian! 🙌

Absolutely the perfect cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and only needed to bring our clothing and food. Nola has thought of everything for this cabin all the way down to the kindling for the fire. The beds were comfortable and the hot water was hot. The AC worked great and we loved the fire pit and front porch.

My bestie and I spent two nights at Fireside Camp in the Cabin on the Bluff, and it was such an incredible experience. Nick and Sydney were perfect hosts! Weekend Trip to Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

Very convenient to Lula Lake Land Trust. Having the bathroom/shower was great, and the electricity & “kitchen” at the barn was nice. I’d suggest that you still bring some of your own cookware, rather than assume everything you may want to use will be available. Also maybe bring something large enough to warm up some water, so you can effectively use it to wash dishes; the sink in the barn has only cold water.

Weekend Trip to Fireside Camp + Lodge

Nick is an amazing host! Extremely responsive and great with communication and going above and beyond to help with any issues or questions we had during our stay. He gave us some great hiking recs as well! Beautiful off the grid private camping area with all that you would need for a quick and peaceful get away. Loved the out door kitchen and the compost loo with the view was so nice to have in the woods. 10 out 10 would recommend and hope to be back soon!
