Off the grid, out of the way, rustic 10 acres where you can pitch a tent, take a hike and enjoy a campfire. Mostly wooded with nearby sites to explore, a few swings for fun (swings have recently been removed due to trees falling) and a fantastically cold SEASONAL mountain creek for cooling off.
Always improving our place, we recently removed the 'cabins', which had become unsuitable for use.
The property is part of a community, which you may notice on the way to the campsite. Site 1 (The Swings) will be first left after you turn into the driveway. It is a U shaped drive, at the bottom of the U, park and walk 15 feet to site. Site 2 (Main Container) is at the end of main driveway, next to container. Drive to end of driveway, park and walk 10 feet to camp. Both are equidistant to the outhouse. There is a trail (tagged with red) that goes all the way around the property, a top half and a bottom half that will take you by the creek. Please look through all of the listing information.
The SEASONAL creek at the bottom of the slope is wonderful and there is a spot for two adults to sit down into the crisp water and plenty of room for lots of feet. If you follow the path in the middle of the property, a 30 minute walk (therefore not on our property) will take you to a beautiful swimming hole. It's cold! There is no power or running water at the property so it's an ideal place to get away from daily life and truly relax. We hope you will enjoy it as much as our family does!
Please note that even though some pictures show buildings, there are no longer cabins/shelter on The Land. We are unable to remove pictures Hipcampers post. It is raw 10 acres so, yes there are ticks. Cover up and spray as you see fit, just be aware. Also, since it is 10 acres of trees, there is plenty of firewood. We don't leave any bundles, just find down limbs and presto, firewood. DO NOT USE THE MAP LISTED OR GOOGLE MAPS; it will take you straight through water. We send detailed directions to you once the day before your booking. Please plan to travel in with daylight, it is incredibly difficult to navigate to our space in the dark. Secluded in the woods on the Cumberland Plateau in middle Tennessee, Long Fork derives its name from the 800 feet of frontage on the Long Fork Creek. Also, on the way to Fall Creek Mennonite community is Fall Creek Falls Riding Stables. They provide a guided horseback tour through the woods. It normally takes an hour.

We build from the heart with blue prints and Deer Camp was a thought that started on the back of a receipt and grew into a 12x12 cozy cabin. We have 13 acres and we share with that Deer Camp. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind.

We had campsite 18 which was nicely secluded. They provided a stack of firewood and it was easy to find kindling in the surrounding woods. The bathrooms were very clean. A very nice place to spend the night.

The campsites were very nice and conveniently located near the nature center of fall creek falls. Each site has large rocks to sit on and fire rings made of stacked stone. Some sites have shelters and there is a very clean port a potty. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a really cute, small barn-style space that clearly had a lot of handmade character and charm. You can tell a lot of it was built with a personal touch, which gives it a unique feel. That said, the ladder leading up to the loft was very petite and a bit difficult to use. Overall, it has potential and a lot of charm! We loved the plants and garden.

Sarah's little farm is wonderful! We had such an amazing trip. We set our trailer up next to her barn which has electric and water. We had a view of the empty fields behind her property, just beautiful. We were able to help with milking the goats and feeding the babies too! Sarah was the nicest host and very laid back. Our 5 and 7 year olds had the best time! Sarah even played a little ball with my son. This was exactly what I needed after a stressful few weeks. I can't wait to go back!!

Unfortunately we could not make it all the way up hill to where majority of campsites are but stayed in a site 1/2 way up hill. Great view!! It was peaceful & we enjoyed walking the land with our pups & the fantastic sunsets.

Absolutely beautiful campsite, with everything I needed! It was secluded and had a great level spot for my tent. There are also great trails on the property. The hosts were wonderful and attentive and had the sweetest pups! I loved it so much, I extended my stay a few nights. I certainly hope to return!
