We have been here a few times we love to bring the dogs they have so much fun running and swimming! We wished the weather would have cooperated a little better but we still had a great time everything was beautiful as always. There was several new upgrades this time which makes this place even better we love this spot and can’t wait to come back again!

Great stay at Lumberjack! Rain didn’t scare me away, the road up to the campsites is in fantastic shape! Plenty of room for a couple larger tents. No ticks or bug issues (I treat my clothing/gear and also use repellent). Great hosts and great location!

Weekend Trip to Fox Field Farms Creekside Camping

We had a great experience at this campsite, and a big part of that was thanks to Tom! It rained the first night we were there, but Tom went above and beyond—he made sure we had dry firewood and even offered us a sheltered spot in case the rain got too intense for our tent. The site itself was well-maintained and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run camping experience!!

What a fun spot and great camping area. Power was all set up and got my Airstream all cozied up behind the barn. Was a bit wet for walking around the property, so just had a fire and chilled.

Camping out in the country is great! Very peaceful. The last 3 miles to the campsite is on a gravel road if you are coming from the Bucksnort exit off I-40. Only 4 cars passed by while camping for 2 days. Plenty of shade available if you plan to set up a tent. This was my second visit to this campsite in the last month. Hope to return again in the Fall.

We loved this place! Very private and picturesque. The deck was an awesome place to wait out an afternoon rain shower. We found that we didnt spend much time at all inside our camper. It was too nice to be inside. On a side note... if there was a 30A power outlet I never found it. Bring an adapter to use the 20A or 50A outlet. But that didn't dampen our stay at all.

Another great stay at Peaceful Hills! Campsite 22, Lumberjack, had plenty of space for our two large tents and offered privacy as well. Jennifer and her family are great hosts as well!

Occupied by Native Americans as early as 10,000 BC, the Chickasaw Indians hunted our hills in the 1500's, and the ranch property is located along the Cherokee "Trail of Tears." Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. ASC tremendously helped Jennifer’s family after the loss of their military soldier and Peaceful Hills Retreat donates a portion of their profits to this amazing non-profit. Learn more about this land: Situated just outside of Columbia, TN (one of the state's most up-and-coming cities) and right on the same road as our 11th President, James K. Polk, once lived - Peekaboo Meadows & The Big Red Barn are waiting to welcome you! Pull in, drive down the grass road and over the small creek, put it in park at the barn and go stretch your legs on the 4o+ acres surrounding. During the day, feel welcome to walk the serene meadows or take a cleared trail up the ridge to the treehouse! Don't be surprised to be greeted by all kinds of wildlife including deer, turkey, foxes, or our goofy, fun-loving Golden Doodle named "Shme." If walking isn't your thing, you are welcome to drive around (4wd recommended) to go scout out where you'd like to set up camp for the night. If you prefer more peace and privacy, there are two beautiful meadows to choose from which both reach deeper into the property. If you'd prefer the comfort of additional shelter, you are welcome to park and/or set yourself up at the barn instead (which is a little closer to the main road). There is power to the barn - providing light, 30AMP power for RV hookup, as well as an electrical receptacle that you can run your extension chords from. For the extra adventurous - you may want to take a hike up "Thornbush Trail," which follows the ridge right up the middle of the property and has beautiful views of both meadows to either side. Or, for a more direct route, take a walk right up our dirt access road to the upper ridge, where you can peek through the treeline for beautiful elevated views eastward toward Columbia. Our treehouse (in progress) is located right at the top of the access road. Though the treehouse has not yet been completed, feel free to climb the 20' ladder up the inside of the hollowed out trunk and pop your head out the top! It sure makes a great photo! Come back to the barn area in the evening to lounge in the hammock, hang out around the picnic table, or cook dinner and roast some marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit with cooking grill attachment (fireside tools & 1 bundle of firewood provided). One filtered and cooled 5 gallon portable Igloo water cooler will also be provided and placed on the picnic table outside the barn. One rolling 96 gallon covered trash bin will be placed inside the barn (please bag your trash). "Luggable Loo" portable compost toilet is also available for use inside the barn. Tho cell & wifi are spotty here on the farm, we will provide one walkie talkie during your stay for direct communication with the main residence, should there be any issues or needs that arise. On the flip side, privacy is respected and use of the electronics is completely at your discretion! For recreation (each within 15-20 minutes of the farm): 1. Williamsport Public Fishing Lakes for fishing or kayaking 2. Stillhouse Hollow Falls Trail 3. Maury County Park with paved walking trail Yummy food: 1. At Crossing Creeks Farm, we are passionate about producing pasture-raised, organic, soy-free food for our family's table and yours. Come enjoy a unique farm stay in our campsite, complete with outdoor bathhouse & picnic pavilion. This site offers many comforts of home while still enjoying the outdoors unplugged. Upon arrival, park in front of our farm store where we will meet you with our tractor and wagon to load your belongings to be delivered to the campsite. Check-in is 2-6 pm Central time. Our private campsite sits in the bend of one of our farm's creeks with two large old trees in the middle, along with a fire pit, picnic pavilion, 2 Adirondack cabins, and an outdoor bathhouse. Whether you are booking for just yourself or a group up to 8, you have the entire campsite to yourself during your stay. Each Adirondack cabin can sleep up to 4. Each is complete with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Please bring your own pillows, sheets and blankets. You will need to bring towels and washcloths for the outdoor bathhouse. The bathhouse includes a shower with hot water, toilet/changing stall, and outdoor sink for washing hands and dishes. There is no electricity in the campsite so please bring flashlights/lanterns. The pavilion and bathhouse have beautiful solar powered string lights that automatically come on at dark.
