There are a couple of level spots for your tents, as well as a nice rock fire pit for you to use and there is an outhouse on the site. The pond hasn't yet been stocked with fish, but hopefully soon it will have more than just frogs. But for now the frogs provide great music. This is a rustic campsite, with rocks, roots, and steep terrain. Please bring your own camping gear, including chairs, and please take your trash with you. There is plenty of privacy, even though you are right near a public road that has very little traffic. There are no other campsites nearby and the owner lives 1/2 mile away. Recreation nearby includes Canoeing/kayaking on both the Elk River and Richland creek (shuttles can usually be arranged), Stillhouse Hollow Falls (beautiful waterfall hiking), Trail of Tears Interpretive Center, and Big Creek Winery.

Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place.
Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors

Situated just outside of Columbia, TN (one of the state's most up-and-coming cities) and right on the same road as our 11th President, James K. Polk, once lived - Peekaboo Meadows & The Big Red Barn are waiting to welcome you! Pull in, drive down the grass road and over the small creek, put it in park at the barn and go stretch your legs on the 4o+ acres surrounding. During the day, feel welcome to walk the serene meadows or take a cleared trail up the ridge to the treehouse! Don't be surprised to be greeted by all kinds of wildlife including deer, turkey, foxes, or our goofy, fun-loving Golden Doodle named "Shme." If walking isn't your thing, you are welcome to drive around (4wd recommended) to go scout out where you'd like to set up camp for the night. If you prefer more peace and privacy, there are two beautiful meadows to choose from which both reach deeper into the property. If you'd prefer the comfort of additional shelter, you are welcome to park and/or set yourself up at the barn instead (which is a little closer to the main road). There is power to the barn - providing light, 30AMP power for RV hookup, as well as an electrical receptacle that you can run your extension chords from. For the extra adventurous - you may want to take a hike up "Thornbush Trail," which follows the ridge right up the middle of the property and has beautiful views of both meadows to either side. Or, for a more direct route, take a walk right up our dirt access road to the upper ridge, where you can peek through the treeline for beautiful elevated views eastward toward Columbia. Our treehouse (in progress) is located right at the top of the access road. Though the treehouse has not yet been completed, feel free to climb the 20' ladder up the inside of the hollowed out trunk and pop your head out the top! It sure makes a great photo! Come back to the barn area in the evening to lounge in the hammock, hang out around the picnic table, or cook dinner and roast some marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit with cooking grill attachment (fireside tools & 1 bundle of firewood provided). One filtered and cooled 5 gallon portable Igloo water cooler will also be provided and placed on the picnic table outside the barn. One rolling 96 gallon covered trash bin will be placed inside the barn (please bag your trash). "Luggable Loo" portable compost toilet is also available for use inside the barn. Tho cell & wifi are spotty here on the farm, we will provide one walkie talkie during your stay for direct communication with the main residence, should there be any issues or needs that arise. On the flip side, privacy is respected and use of the electronics is completely at your discretion!

In Wayne County about 5 miles from our location is the opportunity to spend the day canoeing or kayaking down the Buffalo River. Travel 40 miles northeast and enter an Amish Community for Amish shopping and Tours. Or go straight to the East about 30 miles and visit Lawrenceburg, TN and Davy Crocket State Park. Head 40 miles west discover all the history at the battle fields of Shiloh, just outside of Savanah, TN. And if Music is your interest 45 min south of is "Shoals". Muscle Shoals and Florence Alabama have rich southern history, beautiful historical homes, music roots. No matter the interest, there are ton of things to do occupy your time.

We’re adding a gravel RV pad with a 30-amp hookup, giving you a secure, level place to park while still feeling immersed in nature. Currently, there’s no water or sewer, so come prepared to boondock—but that’s part of the adventure here.
There are no neighbors in sight—just you, the trees, and the gentle rustle of the wind through the hollers. This makes it an ideal stopover for RV travelers seeking space and solitude between Natchez Trace highlights, or a base camp for off-grid explorers.

Olive Hill is conveniently located just minutes from the beautiful small river town of Clifton, Tennessee. Clifton offers a variety of amenities, including local food, drinks, bars and grills, parks, and marinas with boat rentals.
You will also find the Ross Creek Landing Golf Course and Blue Sky Shooting Range nearby. In the other direction is Savannah, Tennessee, where you can enjoy extensive shopping and dining options, as well as easy access to Pickwick Landing State Park.
The state park features a public beach, a disc golf course, boating, fishing, and a wide variety of outdoor activities. These sites give the best of two worlds: full hookups and super fast wifi in a peaceful, forest setting. It was quiet and private, like we had our own little section of the woods. Troy was so nice and friendly, taking the time to make sure we had everything we needed and talk to us about the area. He's a wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, so we only ventured out a little. Whenever we go back, we'll be sure to hike and take in more of the natural beauty around the RV park. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

This was a wonderful site for us. The host greeted us upon arrival to help us back in and hook up. We enjoyed the view and peace of being right on the river. For the only day of our trip when it rained, we were so happy to have the structure as we were able to cook on a grill and sit outside, again enjoying the river view while it was raining around us. We particularly liked that it was an easy location and pretty setting for walking our dogs. A bonus was that the host provided us with information on things to check out in the area. We did go to the civil war museum/battlefield which was excellent.

Our stay at Silverwater Campground in Counce Tennessee was an awesome stay. A stone's throw away from Shiloh National Military Park. Covered RV sites with full hookups at a terrific price. Host very accommodating. Have family in the area. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The property is wonderful. We stayed on site 7. My dad stayed on site 9. The way the sites are set up. While sitting outside your camper, you are facing the woods. This makes it feel like you are not even at a campground. With my dad’s camper next to us (end to end) we had a ton of room for us to spread out. Troy and Jodi were extremely nice and came over to say hello. Would definitely recommend staying at this campground.

This is my second time camping at Troy's place. It has everything you need as a camper - electric, water, sewer (at each site) and fiber internet (at each site). It's a great get-away and yet only about 10 minutes from Liden TN if you need to pick something up at the local grocery store. It is also near several kayak rental places. You will enjoy your stay!
