Weekend Trip to The Shady Grove @CaveValleyGetaway!
We stayed at Jordan's property while seeing a concert at the caverns. This camping experience was really great! We arrived in the dark, but Jordan gave great instructions to find the sites in the back of the property and left lights on near the tent so we could see to set up our stuff. Despite rain all night, we were very comfortable and dry in the tent provided. We would stay again and would recommend this site to others!

What a wonderful respite for me and my three dogs. The goal was to come explore the Chattanooga area, do some hiking, and relax. . I did the farm tour also. Really a neat experience. I hope to come visit again someday.!

Weekend Trip to The Shady Grove @CaveValleyGetaway!
By far one of the best camp experiences I've had! The tents provided were a huge upgrade from my small 2-person tent—spacious, clean, and super comfortable. We stayed at Site #2 with the queen beds, and it was perfect. There was shade all day, a constant breeze, and the layout of the land offered great privacy from neighbors.
The inflatable mattresses included were a great touch and made the nights extra comfortable. Compared to the other campsites, I definitely prefer The Cave Valley—it’s officially on my favorites list!
Jordan was a fantastic host—super responsive, welcoming, and just an all-around cool person to interact with.
🧭 Pro Tip for Future Campers:
Come prepared—bring plenty of water, food, battery storage, and a basic first aid kit. The site is well set up, but being prepared makes the experience even better.
I’ll definitely be coming back—with more friends next time!

Jordan is a super chill host. The yurts are comfortable and the site as a whole is cozily nestled in the woods away from the main road while still being easily accessible by car. I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The cabin was fantastic! It was so clean and comfortable. Everything about it was perfect! We enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere. We don’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor seating area but it looked great. It’s close to a fabulous Amish Farmer’s Market, a small winery and of course river rafting! Already planning our next trip!

We such a wonderful time staying at the Peaceful Hollow Farm glamping tent for a night! The tent was on a level platform and there was even a partitioned area for the potty, covered with a screen. The cookware, double burner, and electricity that were provided were greatly appreciated and the city water was a nice surprise. We made s’mores at the campfire and relaxed on the Adirondack chairs for a while in the evening. The next morning, we did the short hike nearby with our little ones and we had fun searching for, picking, and eating the ripe wild blackberries. We thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour, meeting the cashew goats, llamas, chickens, etc. That was a special treat for the family! Darla and Bon were great and we felt at home. We would definitely come back to do the longer hikes and greet the adorable animals, especially the cashmere goats again 😊

Great place! I stayed for 2 nights. As advertised it’s a big tent, 2 inflatable mattress’s,small table, on a wooden platform and nice fire pit. No showers or water but does have a porta potty, that is well maintained and clean. Jordan was very nice and friendly and responded to my request as needed. Great place to stay if you’re going to the caverns for a show. With in walking distance, about 20 minute and that’s to the amphitheater.Also if weather is dry you’re good with 2 wheel drive but if raining I would suggest 4 wheel. I would definitely go back. We were going to a show at the Caverns and had plans to camp, but then stumbled across this. We're talking glamping style comfort tucked away in the trees, right next door to the venue. Walked back and forth to the show, chilled by the fire and slept comfortably in a spacious canvas tent with an air mattress but felt like we were on a legit camping trip. Wow!

My stay at Darla’s was amazing! The glamping tent was clean and cozy, with everything I needed, and the goats and llamas were adorable. Darla was extremely friendly and helpful in giving me rides up and down the hill, even in the pouring rain! There is a beautiful hiking trail from her property that was the best part of my visit. I would absolutely stay again.

This spot was very nice! The trail was close by and exciting, plus the tent was well maintained with plenty of supplies. The host are very welcoming as the helped us multiple times throughout my stay. Had a wonderful time!
