Weekend Trip to Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

This place was AMAZING! Exactly what I wanted. Not near anyone. Perfect for my antisocial self 😉. It was just me and a friend, but this place has a ton of space. I love how it as the essentials for everything. I want to bring my grown kids back. They will love it.

This was our second time staying on Grants beautiful property in the mountains of Tracy city! It seems to get better every time we visit. We brought our 8 month old son, Arlo, and it was his very first camping trip!! Grant and his wife are such genuine and kind people, they truly go out of their way to make your experience special and memorable. The property could be a state park itself, we spent several hours exploring the mountainside and admiring Miller Falls. Our campsite was huge, clean, and perfectly situated to view the sunset. This won’t be our last time camping on Grants property, and we so look forward to returning!

2 nights at Andy & Ana's Cute Little Farm

We really enjoyed our time at the farm! The chickens were adorable and their eggs were fantastic. The whole place is beautiful and we will definitely be coming back.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

Our stay was short, but our experience was great! We stayed in the Beech Treehouse where we were very cozy sleeping through a thunderstorm. The waterfall sang to us all night and was a spectacular sight in the morning. Around the treehouse grounds we enjoyed seeing toads, turtles, squirrels and birds, birds, birds. The treehouse itself is well appointed and the hospitality of hosts Grant and Becky made our little overnight a joy.

We stayed at the Outdoor Kitchen + Yurtle with a group and had a wonderful time. The waterfall is a short walk to feel like you’re in another world! We will definitely be back and hope to try out Grant’s other creative structures.

Becky and Grant have a beautiful piece of land and are incredible hosts. They truly want you to have the best time on their property and are there to help you with anything you could want/need. It’s obvious they genuinely love the company of others and that they enjoy sharing their land for others to enjoy. Words simply cannot do this place justice and we loved exploring it. We will be back soon!

The staff were very friendly and the facility was beautiful from the small part that we saw. If we had not just been passing through, I would certainly have loved to explore a bit more

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

Super good hosts. Loved the kitchen for sitting around and having meals together. Came primarily to hike the nearby “Fiery Gizzard” trail from end to end. Plenty of room for several tents. The waterfall close by on the property was a plus.

6 nights at Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

This was the perfect spot for my son and I. We were looking for a place close to everything (Cloudland Canyon and Lookout Mountain) and this was perfect. The owner has this place set up perfectly. There is a barn area that has a table and sink/prep area (a lot more technically if you don't bring your own stuff), a rustic cabin with electric and a full open air bathroom with an on demand water heater and normal flush toilet (more posh than we usually go for). Also two fire pit areas, plenty of trees to hang hammocks and if your adventurous on the back of the land is the connector trail to The Moonshine Trails. You could also walk to Lulu Lake if open (which has limited open days which we weren't lucky enough). There is a working horse farm next door as explained and entertaining to watch, but they were no disturbance what-so-ever. For those that are thinking about it, there was also no smell. Saw the owner out there leading some groups, but they were to themselves. The barn cats Lucky and Boo were around each day. My son loved hanging out with them. They were very affectionate. We spent a couple days just relaxing and didn't even leave. So very peaceful! Overall I just loved this place and likely will try to make my way back again.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

We had an amazing time in the Beech Treehouse! Becky checked us in and showed us around + gave us an overview of the trails. Their private waterfall was beautiful, and we loved exploring the stream with our dogs. The porch built into the treehouse was such a serene spot to have our morning coffee and evening dinners. Cosy bed, well-stocked camp kitchen, clean hot shower, this really is "glamping" at it's core! Nice that there is a grocer about 9 min away for anything we forgot. And a few more restaurants in Monteagle about 20 min away, even more if you go to sewanee. 10/10 and will definitely return!

This is a great camping spot! We chose the primitive camping site and it was exactly what we wanted. Private, far from other guests, and plenty of room to roam and explore. I was a little worried about the road accessing the site, but we made it in a fairly low cross-over SUV without any problems (in dry weather). The property is amazing and has an easily accessible waterfall that rivals many state parks! Grant is a great host and welcomed us on arrival, showed us to our site, and told us about the property and the area. Great communication throughout booking, checking if everything was okay, and on checkout. I definitely expect we will be back soon!

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

My partner and I loved camping on Grant and Becky's land in the Trampease Tree tent this past weekend. You could tell they really put a lot of thought into this setup as it had everything that we needed. Grant and Becky met us once we arrived and showed us where our site was and the different paths to take to check out the land. They encouraged us to hike their property and we saw so many beautiful sights and sounds. They have so much to explore on their land that my partner and I already want to go back! This was my first time booking thru Hipcamp and I have already told all of my friends to check it out! Stay with Grant and Becky, you will not be disappointed- trust me!!

4 nights at Andy & Ana's Cute Little Farm

Another incredible experience! Last year we visited Andy and Anna’s for a reset and this year more of the same. Last year we wish we had stayed longer and this year we did stay longer yet it still didn’t feel long enough. This is a special place where you can experience nature and all the things you love about camping but without the work. I personally love cooking outside and enjoyed doing that for most every meal. The fire pit is huge, cozy and inviting. The space is so well thought out and even on a rainy day it is bright and airy with plenty to do. I can go on and on but ultimately the care and hospitality that Andy and Anna give to the experience and property is rare which is why visiting their little farm will hopefully be a yearly thing for us (hopefully more)!

3 nights at Greeter Falls Campground

Wonderful campsite! My only complaint is that our neighbors were very loud and had little to no respect for the fact that they had neighbors some of which were young children who were trying to sleep. There is a 10pm quiet time posted but it is up to campers to be respectful of each other. All in all the facilities were clean and well maintained. Hot showers and bathrooms were much appreciated and the staff was extremely helpful! I will definitely be back!

We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. We have a pool that is available to rent privately during your stay. You can use the Swimply app to book your time or you can message us through HipCamp, and we can set that up for you. It's like having your own private summer camp! The unfurnished cabin is dry and clean. A huge upgrade from a tent (feel free to pitch your tents if you like)! The bathhouse offers hot showers, a flush toilet, and sink. The open pole barn has a deluxe camping kitchen set up with pots and pans, a propane stove, a coffee maker, and a dishwashing sink. There is also a dining table and chairs. While the property is close and convenient to Chattanooga, once you are enjoying the serene woods, shady trees, starry nights, and quality time with family and friends you will forget all about the city! While there are no full-time residents on the property, there is a small functioning horse farm about 100 yards from the camping area. On most days the owner will stop by to care for the horses, and teach riding lessons.
