This was the second time I’ve stayed at Belle & Beau Acres and I’m determined to stay a night when it’s not raining! Doesn’t matter, the land is beautiful and the host(s) are great. Will continue to recommend and can’t wait to stay again. Site #3 is spacious and private. Love how close it is to the meadow and the fire pit set up. Was just me and my pup, but would be a great site for a group. Garlic braid was a nice touch too! Came in during a downpour after 1.25” of rain and my RAV4 made it just fine

Weekend Trip to Blue Heron Landing

I thoroughly enjoyed tent camping out on Don’s land. The spaces are naturally separated in a way it really feels like you’ve got the entire place to yourself. The sun rises behind you and sets in front of you across the water, making for beautiful views at sunset. Lots of wildlife and wide open spaces. The drive through the fields to get to the sites was half of the fun! What’s an outdoor adventure without a little bit of mud?! 10/10 would go again. Thank you, Don!

Weekend Trip to Blue Heron Landing

We’ve been camping at a lot of Hipcamps and this one is our new favorite! Don is very nice and made sure we had all we needed for a great stay. The property is just gorgeous - from the drive through the open fields to the “beach” areas by the meadows and perfect water access. Our kids loved playing and swimming while we sat by the fire and fished. We saw lots of wildlife as well! Can’t wait to go back!!

Weekend Trip to The Ponderosa

We had such a lovely stay at the Ponderosa! My friend and I stayed the night after the Cornbread Festival, and we were lucky enough to meet a lot of the family (including the pets). Jan is a 10/10 host - she and her husband made sure we had everything we needed and even had a fire ready to go for us when we arrived. It was so nice to have access to a shower, refrigerator, and a coffee pot in the morning. My friend and I tent camped, and the land was perfect for our setup. We were given warnings about some dogs close by that bark in the night. We heard them, but it didn’t stop us from getting a good night’s sleep. I also loved hearing the stream next to the campsite. Thank you so much for giving us such a comfortable and memorable end to our trip to the area! We’ll definitely be back!!

Nicest host ever! We were in town for the Cornbread Festival and it was convenient to all the activities. Host provided all the firewood we could use. Checked in to see if we needed anything. There’s access to a small kitchen area with use of coffee maker, fridge. The 5 acres is in a neighborhood. Bonus: Ask to see their monkey.

Weekend Trip to Powell River Camp & Retreat

We absolutely loved camping here right next to the river! We didn’t have our own tent and the host provided one for us and set everything up before we got there. They also included a few cast iron pans for cooking, a hammock and plenty of firewood. The tent was set up right next to the river with our own private fire pit.

3 nights at Howlin Hill

Relaxing and quiet little primitive campground right on the Duck River. They have a canoe/kayak rental place onsite that was super easy and very fun. The gal that manages the place is awesome too. She delivered us firewood right to our site on a couple occasions and was very helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). We now have rv hook up with a 30 amp electric service, sewer and water available. We have wildlife such as bobcats, coyotes, deer, owls, snakes, turkeys and rumor has it, maybe even a bigfoot. We are currently offering 4 treehouse dwellings to share our peaceful land full of God's promises. The dwellings are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet not to far of a walk to the common area where the kitchen and shower are. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!
