We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

Our campsites sit along the Powell River, offering a peaceful retreat in the early stages of development. We are dedicated to restoring and enhancing the land through ongoing projects such as clearing overgrowth, planting native species, and practicing responsible riverfront stewardship. You may see us working on-site—feel free to say hi! We offer 6 individual campsites with access to a shared riverfront. Private Booking: If you are interested in reserving the entire property for a private experience or group-camp, please contact us for availability. Toilets: There is a composting outhouse near the barn - guests have shared access. Water: There is no potable water on-site. We recommend bringing your own. Pets: Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Please clean up after them. Alcohol: Adults of legal drinking age may consume alcohol responsibly. No glass bottles are permitted. Firewood: Available for as add on/extra when booking. Location: The property is approximately five minutes from Pump Springs on Powell River Road. Parking: The gravel driveway leads into to a grass field with a designated parking area. Gate: Our entrance has a well-loved farm gate, and we are working on building a new one. Please close the gate behind you upon entering to help maintain privacy during your stay. Footwear: While the riverfront is glass-free, we recommend wearing river shoes or sandals for safety. Lifejackets are not required, please swim and float at your own risk. Fishing is permitted; however, proper licensure is required. For the safety of all guests, fishing is not allowed in the beachfront area where guests swim and walk. The water is way down this time of year, allowing so much more beach exploring. Despite not wanting everyone to know about it, I have to say… you’ve really got to see this space. Especially if you want a place to camp that feels all your own.

Our stay at Belle and Beau Acres was absolutely perfect! We chose two reserve both of the hike in camping sites down by the river for extra privacy. As advertised, it’s a short hike in, but the trail is narrow and a bit steep—so plan accordingly. The effort is completely worth it, though. The sites are very private, nestled between two hills beside a gently flowing stream. The combination of privacy and the relaxing sound of the water made for an amazing atmosphere. The farm itself is in an ideal location. When you arrive, it feels like you’re deep in the countryside, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from downtown Cookeville for food or supplies. Plus, both Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls are just a short drive away—highly recommend visiting both! Christine and her husband were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I really appreciated how thorough they are and how they verify that all guests are registered—it adds a nice sense of safety and respect among everyone on the property. Everything about our trip was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Belle and Beau Acres

Belle and Baua Acres was absolutely incredible! We reserved hike-in tent sites #2 and #4, and they were just as advertised. The short, somewhat steep hike down makes it important to pack light, but it’s well worth it once you arrive. If you’re looking for a peaceful, primitive camping experience with plenty of privacy, these sites are perfect. Both sites sit just a few feet from a tranquil stream—an ideal backdrop for relaxing by the water or drifting off to the sound of nature. Christine and her husband were wonderful hosts: incredibly responsive, organized, and clearly take great pride in maintaining their beautiful farm. The location couldn’t be better—close to Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls, both stunning hikes with breathtaking waterfalls, and only about 15 minutes from Cookeville if you need supplies or want to grab a bite to eat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great hosts, great place, great location, and an all-around amazing stay. 100% recommend!

Riverside camp site was awesome! Well groomed and very secluded. Directions were easy to follow. I believe I stayed at the very last site and felt like I owned paradise. Cleared areas are much larger than needed, which creates a ‘safe’ piece of mind in such a remote area. The gravel road in could use a bit of TLC if you’re heading to the back forty, but it forces you to go slow and take in the beauty. Coyotes got to yippin around midnight, but that seems to be quite familiar in these areas. Highly recommend it if you are looking to get away from all that bothers you! Don’t forget your fishing pole!

Loved staying here with my kids. Location was super easy to get to. The layout was great, you feel mostly secluded even though there are other sites in the area. The site itself was nicely shaded so it didn’t get too hot. They have a super cute farm-stand with perfectly precut wood. The hike down to the creek was kinda slippery with fallen leaves but it was still nice and the kids loved checking it out. Christine was a super hero host when someone decided to leave a light on in our car and drained our battery. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My doggo and I stayed for a couple of nights. The incline to the site was as described. I used this site to help get some rust off my backpacking legs, so to speak. It's far enough away to make every trip to the car count! Christine was an amazing host. Very communicative. I will definitely be going back. The only drawback (or not a drawback) the sound of the highway in the distance. Noting the closeness to civilization. Which is also good if you forget something for your site! I enjoyed exploring the creekside and small trails on site. It's close to state parks to for additional hiking. A wonderful well needed stay

An incredibly picturesque site! We brought paddle boards and kayaks and paddled to the other side of the river each day—an easy and enjoyable trek. We picked the second site and it had perfectly spaced trees for hammocks and took hammock naps daily. We enjoyed the dark sky so much at night and could not believe how many stars we could see! We were thankful for clear nights because the night sky was absolutely breathtaking. We loved seeing the barges go by day and night—infrequent enough that it was an “event” every time we saw one but enough that we got to see a few while there! Pro tip—don’t run out of bug spray, even if it’s the last day and you’re just packing up and heading out. The bottom of my legs were so itchy for a week afterward—definitely not mosquito bites, I’m not sure what but me but it bit a lot! All said, we will absolutely be back, fully stocked with bug spray!
