We are situated on a quiet country road only minutes away from Cherokee Lake. Additionally, we are conveniently located:

Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains near historic Greeneville, 

Tennessee, Nolichuckey Bluffs Bed and Breakfast RV, Camping, Cabins is a wonderful place to just get away from it all and escape into nature. Campsites are private with vistas overlooking the river and mountains.  RV locations are easily accessible and have full hook-ups. Cabins are cozy with first-class amenities and East Tennessee hospitality.  The fully equipped pet friendly cabins offer breathtaking views of the Nolichuckey River and mountains.

Breakfast is available upon request and for a fee.  Make a reservation or pick up a jam and jelly made from berries right here on the property.

Your furry friends are our furry friends but we do require a special reservation and fee for them. So please let us know about them before you arrive.

Morning Star's Mountain View

Morning Star Homestead is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains with elevation see 3 states. Secluded and quiet. The valley is named for the Carter family that once lived in the area.

Creekside Camping

We are just starting out as homesteaders. We have 50 beautiful acres to explore.  In time we hope to have Copper Top Cabins, an event barn and a working farm. 
Come enjoy the peace and serenity that God has bestowed on us. Step out of the rat race and enjoy slow pace of the country, the scenery and animals. Or go fishing or ride your motorcycle on the many nearby motorcycle rides like Tail of the Dragon, The Mini Dragon, Copperhead Road and many others.  The locals are friendly and the scenery is breathtaking. Come and relax and take in the fresh country air.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent near the creek. Enjoy the sounds of rippling water, beautiful night sky and a communal campfire if you’d like. There are few amenities as we are just starting off. But we are flexible, accommodating and will allow use of our porta-potty and water well, if you need. Just ask for drinking water as we collect it in jugs at the spring for ourselves and will be happy to share. We have over 50 acres to explore and even an old log cabin if you care to brave the woods to find it.

There is a creek with trees lining it too on the camping side. 

Shallow Creek bed now but with the recent rains it has been running hard recently, never got out of its banks though. 

Cross the creek here to explore and if interested check out the steep hill for a back drop. 

Welcome Spring!  We are glad to see the first wild Daffodils spring up on their own. 

Sunflower cabin is one of 3 precious primitive cabins on the Shoestring Creek Campground property. Each cabin is tucked away in its own little private area off of the road and equipped with a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table.

Shoestring Creek Campground

We are a campground with tent sites and cabins.  40 acres to explore, the grounds are heavily forested, with walking trails and nature, nature, nature. Each site is secluded, We are located in the Cherokee National Forest at the foot of the Smokey Mountains.   Just outside the towns of Hartford and Cosby.  Hartford has River Rafting, Zip Lines, Kayaking on the Pigeon River.   You will be able to get away from it all. but less than 45 minutes from favorite tourist attractions like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.  We are located 2.6 miles off of I-40 at mile marker 447 just across the NC state line.Learn more about this land:Small off grid campground away from the noise and bustle of bigger campgrounds. Seclusion and privacy at all cabins. Cabins are primitive with no power or plumbing. Cabins have full or queen bed with  1 set of bunk beds in 2 of the cabins,  table and chairs. Fire pit. Charcoal grills and picnic tables outside for cooking and eating. Bathhouse on site with thermal shower and real toilet. You will need your camping items such as sleeping bags, lanterns, and cooking  items etc.

The bath house is just a short walk from each of the cabins. Showers are available!

Black Fox Escape

We are gladly sharing our 25 acres of land with 2 campsites and one vintage camper for others to enjoy. There are 2 remote camping areas and both have access to a cleared field with plenty of space to relax and unwind. This is a beautiful place for stargazing away from the city lights. Wildlife sightings may include deer, turkey and a wide variety of birds. We welcome families; kids 12 yrs and under are free. 

Firewood is provided at no additional charge. Relax and enjoy your time in the woods.

A simple composting toilet is provided for all sites to share. It is located behind the Vintage camper in a small, wooden outhouse.

Campsite #2 set up in the woods or anywhere along the field at the top of the hill.

This vintage beauty has been well cared for since 1970.
