Awarded South Dakota's best Hip Camp 4 times. Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table.
The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing.
Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups.
My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 4 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire.
The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath.

We have two restored vintage campers that sleep 4 people and multiple tent sites. The bathroom and solar shower are shared by all guests. There are 2 sites for self-contained RV's with 20A electric available and water at some sites. 2 tent sites are available until the hay season (August) then the pasture is wide open tent camping. Horse boarding and camping available too. Each site can request individual fire rings. We have an outdoor community area that has a large fire pit, covered shelter and a woodfired pizza oven that will be in use on some weekends and by request. Local and national touring musicians are known to provide pop up private concerts some weekends and impromptu jam sessions. On occasion, we have outdoor movies and morning yoga along with great activities in the surrounding community too. Or just hang out in the hammocks and soak in that downhome country feeling. The property was lovely and the owner's are so friendly and make you feel right at home. Loved all of the animals, especially their beautiful dog, Millie. The solar shower was a treat and there were so many decorations and gardens to see. We left with eggs, veggies and great memories. I would highly recommend and hope to return myself one day!

We loved staying at Uncle B’s Hipcamp! We ended up being the only campers that night so we got VIP service, although I bet he treats everyone like a VIP - he’s that kind of guy. When we arrived we got a dozen farm fresh eggs and he made my daughter a bracelet making kit with her name on it!
Our dog had a blast running off leash with his dogs, our daughter had so much fun exploring and getting to meet the baby kitties! My husband and I also had a great time getting to know Uncle B and getting a tour of the camp. We built a great bonfire (wood provided by Uncle B!)
All around great experience, I wish we would’ve had time to stay longer!

It was very serene and peaceful and the host Brian was very Polite and courteous and very helpful he gave us a tent top for our tent cause we was using a tarp for the top of our tent.
Free wood for your campsite fire pit every camp site has theyre own. And the bathrooms are a great bonus full size showers and a sink ,toilets HOT WATER!!!!💯💯💯 🔥

Brian provided information on a few local sites to visit on our way to his place, and was welcoming upon arrival. He gave us a golf cart tour of his property and shared some produce and eggs with us. The site was level and we were the only RV there for the night. We got to see his guineas, turkey, peacocks and dogs. We didn’t use the shower and bathroom but it appeared clean. Brian was very friendly and we would definitely stay there again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Brian was a wonderful host! warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind with my kids. They loved getting to explore, and he made us feel like part of the family (I even joked he felt like an uncle!). His property is beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see tons of shooting stars during our stay. We really enjoyed using Hipcamp, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

Brian and his property are such a gem along 90. Brian has transformed a stop along the way to somewhere we look forward to planning a trip to visit.
Brian's communication was quick and clear. His propert is a short jaunt down a gravel road and clearly signed. The sites are spacious and positioned for privacy. The bath houses are clean and the overall property is charming.
Brian himself is a lovely personality eager to host and connect with his visitors. Highly recommend whether you're passing through ir looking for a unique and restful stop.
