Beautiful location with a view of Table Rock located in the Historic Oolenoy Valley. Our property is located in Northern Pickens Co. of South Carolina. Plenty of trails, boating, biking in the area or just sit under your awning and enjoy the wildlife. Important please read! There is not evening shade in July and August, However, there are shady spots very close to the camp site that you can enjoy. Where your camper sits the Sun goes down at the front of the camper. It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway. FREE FIREWOOD FOR LIMITED TIME: I have more split oak firewood than I know what to do with. While it lasts, campers can take as much as they need for free. The wood is piled at the site. Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog. We also have a small orchard and a garden. Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. For those familiar with the forest, our property is in the vicinity of Wildcat Technical, Wounded Road, and Chainbreaker trails. As private and wooded as our property is, we are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Clemson and less than 10 minutes from the small towns of Central and Six Mile. Lakes Hartwell and Keowee are also short drives. We currently offer a single campsite, which can accommodate several tents or a camper van. Our campsite features a composting toilet outhouse, and water is available from spigots at our house. Though fairly close to our house, the campsite has a very private feel due to being completely surrounded by a hardwood forest.

We had an amazing stay at Gatlin Ridge RV Park in Rosman, NC! From the moment we arrived, Jake made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The in-and-out for parking our 35-foot fifth wheel was super easy, and our site was spacious and beautifully maintained with all hookups working flawlessly. We stayed in site #5. The park is peaceful and surrounded by stunning natural scenery, perfect for relaxing or exploring the outdoors. The fire pit was a highlight—we enjoyed s’mores every night under the stars! The location is fantastic, with hiking trails, Brevard, and Headwater Outfitters all just a short drive away. Overall, Gatlin Ridge is a true gem. Thanks to Jake, our experience was wonderful—we had such a relaxing and fun stay, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through western NC!

The description of the Hipcamp was very accurate. The site was level, hookups were perfect & the views of Table Rock Mountain exceeded our expectations. The location was within close proximity to hiking (Table Rock & Paris mountain) & biking ( loved Swamp Rabbit bike trail & Travelers Rest). The land offers peace & quiet while being surrounded by nature, with incredible wide open skies full of stars. Steven was an excellent host. We can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed staying at June and Jerry's. It a very nice area and easy to back in. The location to Travlers Rest, Greenville and surrounding area is perfect, for all the outdoor activities that are all around. I would deffently recommend staying there. We will be back for sure.
