We raise miniature horses, miniature Highland and Highland cross cattle, Kune Kune and Kune Kune cross pigs, as well as chickens and geese. We have a lovely 1+ acre pond in front of the main house, which is fully stocked with Brim, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. This pond has a wonderful ecosystem and is home to Kingfishers, wood ducks, Storks, herons, egrets, and is a place where a nesting pair of Bald Eagles come for water, and an occasional fish. We have an in-ground swimming pool, and a paddle boat to take out on the pond. Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend get away, or a chance to experience farm life on a small homestead, this place has a lot to offer. We offer a canning class, making artisan bread, and a hayride (tractor pulled) around the property. Breakfast and lunch or breakfast and Dinner can be included in the stay at an additional charge. We have 2 large horses that can be fed carrots, loved on, petted, and the possibility of some riding. Gathering eggs, feeding the hens and pigs, playing with Titan the farm mascot (our Great Dane dog), or just relaxing around the pool, or around a fire pit, there is always something happening on our little farm. The lady of the house has her Serv Safe certification for preparing and serving food and has been a home chef for parties and catering for several years. Weekend Trip to Small Stuff Farm

This has to be the best property offered on Hipcamp. I have rented places through Hipcamp as well as other apps, and this is the best property and best experience yet. The hosts Loretta and Erik could not be more kind and welcoming. They live onsite, and will give you space and privacy when you want it…but will also quickly make you feel like an Important part of the household. The property is first class. You can meet the farm animals and experience farm life as much as you’d like. Yet you can also lounge by the pool and swim, and feel like you’re at a 5-star resort. Very unique. Also check out the large pond for wildlife viewing and a paddle boat ride if you’d like. The bedroom and private bathroom is really comfortable and they have every amenity you can think of. And be sure to include Loretta’s home cooked meals when making your reservation. They are delicious, made with ingredients straight from the farm you are staying on, and the fellowship with new friends is the best. Your best bet is to arrive for check-in, and not leave the property until it’s time for check-out. You will love every moment.

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

Very nice and quite, lovely creek to enjoy. Full hook up with 36ft camper. They do have a few long term campers. Owners were very easy to get a hold of with questions. Would stay again.

Look no further if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. This little gem is located a little beyond the beaten path. The owners were super welcoming, friendly and even helped us out when we encountered a leveling issue on spot 4. The bathhouse and laundry facilities were clean and neat.

Weekend Trip to Leaning Pines Campground and Cabins

Camp management is outstanding! Truly cares about each guest and customer service is best I’ve seen in decades. Been there twice, love the area, both camper and cabin were exquisite in comfort and inspiring relaxation. Stress just melts away within minutes of arriving. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names, I’m terrible with names, but the whole family is quite lovely! A million thanks for the healing rest and family time!

Fantastic hosts, cared only about our comfort during the visit. Lovely, quiet, peaceful campground. Cute little RV, if a weekend away with no muss or fuss leaving home is needed. Book and hop in your vehicle (or horse which I was so happy to see!) and bring yourselves and fave items to keep you happy 🤷🏼‍♀️. Can’t wait to go back again!
