2 nights at Hickory Hollow

Family friendly- We had an amazing time camping and fishing. The family is so friendly and kind. Made sure we had everything we needed. Even gave us fresh farm eggs which were amazinging. The animals were so much fun to see and pet. My boys loved fishing and kayaking in the pond. This is a working farm so there are roosters but not that early like the other post stated. After the second day we barley heard them in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. We will be back

Weekend Trip to Beautiful 400 Acre Horse Farm

My hubby and an employee stayed at Jill’s property- they’re there doing storm clean up work. They loved it- the quiet, the nature- everything. They loved the owners dogs hanging with them and seeming to ‘guard’ them from the wild life- We absolutely recommend Jill’s property- hands down! We are hoping to take a trip there (non-work related) and be able to stay there. They wanted to explore, but they had a short time frame, and were super appreciative of the property owner allowing them to stay!

There are many animals you can enjoy petting and feeding such as 20 chicken's, a goose, 3 horses, 2 rabbits, 12 goats, and 2 baby goats which are called kids. You can even bring your your horses along and keep them in one of our 1 acre fenced in fields with lots of trees and a water trough to keep them cool in the heat. You can trail ride and hike in about 120 acres of woods with streams, bridges, and some 12-18in natural made jumps. We also have a pond that you can swim, kayak, and go swimming in with your horse.

Our farm is very peaceful and we knew it was a special place when we found it during our search when we decided to move our alpaca farm from FL to GA. We have raised alpaca for last 14 years. They are a fiber producing animal (similar to sheep) as well as just a beautiful animal, have great personalities and it is amazing to watch the herd dynamics. We have 3 very spoiled donkeys (mom, daughter and gelded son) - have had them for about 18 years. We are committed to the best care possible for our animals and love to educate people about alpacas (and donkeys). We have a farm store onsite with various items for sale made out of the alpaca fiber (socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, plushies, etc). As part of your stay, we will offer a short alpaca farm tour! There is a 2 acre lake on our property which is adjacent to the campsite area separated by a fence. The campsite area is located away from our main house and the alpaca barn - fairly private. We have a bathroom onsite and a shower (no hot water at this time) - a walk from the campsite area. There is a picnic table available.
