We absolutely loved our stay. The park is in immaculate shape. As tent campers, It was wonderful having access to the shower house and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

Great site, short walk to the lake edge where we put in our kayaks. Wood pallet was generous and set up was nice. We saw a bald eagle minutes after making a toast to those fighting overseas (can’t make this stuff up)! Found a 1965 nickel on the ground, wonder what other hidden historic secrets are in this area. Awesome campsite!

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

2 nights at Pheonix meadows

Pheonix Meadows was the perfect setting for the peace and tranquility I needed this past week. I backed my truck camper into a a beautiful little nitch in the woods and settled in the the sounds of the forrest. The echoes of Barred owls in the evening and the exciting gobbles of the wild turkeys in the morning were welcoming sounds of the approaching spring..I was surprised by the bundle of wood provided by William and I enjoyed sitting by the fire each exening, so grateful for the privilege of being able to camp on this beautiful farm. I can't wait for the opportunity to return with my grandkids in the very near future.

Jesse was outstanding, He was really nice and communicative, sadly we had to leave early because of the weather, was really windy and colder that we expected for that day, ( check the weather really carfuly before planning your trip, totally my fault) even so, he offered to pay a full refund. Campsite Overlooking Lake at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds is a beutifull place with a lot of things to do an collect good memories with your love ones.

1 night at Hesed Homestead

Great experience. This RV was clean and comfortable. You can tell that Jessie has put alot of care and love into making this RV a special place for her guests. Bed linens and clean towels are provided. I enjoyed sitting by the firepit and relaxing. The homeowners are far enough away that the RV feel private but they are just a phone call away if you need them. The homeowners were kind enough to come show me how to work the heat. The property is quiet and peaceful. I would certainly stay here again.

A great night stargazing last night, complete with a shooting star. Absolutely no light pollution from the site. Very low noise except frogs in the distance and light breeze in the trees. We’ve added this one to our favorites list and plan to come back. Great host on a working farm!

Weekend Trip to Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

What a great stay! We were arriving right at sunset, so Jesse sent a video on exactly where to find the campsite. The area was quiet and peaceful, and we were able to find plenty of firewood. In the morning, we were able to get some fresh well water and meet the dogs! Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Utopia Farm Camping

This property was ideal for our family gathering! The kids all had a blast, and Ray and Cindy were such excellent hosts. There are horses, goats, donkeys, chickens/roosters, and a nice little trail around the property. Having the barn with full bathroom and full kitchen made life a lot easier. We also enjoyed spending time in the heated/cooled living area. Would definitely recommend!

This place will exceed your expectations. Really nice folks own/run the place. Beautiful land with friendly animals no complaints at all. The barn and common areas are just a huge cherry on top from what I was really expecting when I set out to go camping.

We had a great time staying at Victor’s place! He was very accommodating to our needs and met us when we were rolling in late after dark. Property was beautiful and so fun to explore. Blue, the dog, was very sweet and even roamed the property with us and our dogs! Would highly recommend staying here 😊

I've been doing a lot of gravel riding on my bicycle, and this site is perfect for it. Big Creek RV is conveniently located right next to the roads I've been riding. I can't wait to take a kayak next time since it's situated right by the water.

Now we are retired and enjoy farming and ranching. We are a couple of miles away from Lake Murray, built in 1920's, and displaced thousands of families, farms, towns, churches, and schools. There are still homes, graveyards, Wise Ferry Bridge still underwater. A B-25 Mitchell plane crashed into the Lake during WWII. Our traffic circle was accidentally bombed one Oct. night in 1944. We are 30 miles from Columbia, SC, our state capital. Learn more about this land: We are a working farm of grass-fed beef, free-range laying hens and ducks, seasonal vegetables; fruits, honey hives, goats, donkeys and horses. We are surrounded by families who have lived on their land for many generations. No subdivisions. Great place to star gaze without street lights. We have 2 sites with water and electricity for camping. Our large barn has a full kitchen, full bath and den area for campers to share. Yet, we are just a few miles from 2 boat ramps on Lake Murray which offers fishing and boating. Also, we are just 30 miles from metropolitan Columbia, historic Newberry, and 15 miles from the town of Lexington, SC. The Capital City of Columbia, just 30 miles east, offers Riverbanks Zoo, Richland County’s Congaree National Park, Saluda Shoals Park, EdVenture Children’s Museum. The Newberry Opera House is 36 miles away and The Big Mo Drive-in Theatre is in Monetta, 13 miles. Indian Trail Public Golf Course is 15 miles in Leesville.
