1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground

I had a great one-night stay at Sweetwater. The site and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained. There were other campers in RVs nearby, but everyone was quiet. I booked the glamping tent site, but I only intended on using my own hammock in the nearby trees. When the host realized I wasn't actually using the tent, she generously gave me a refund! She was very easy to coordinate with. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back to stay here.

Weekend Trip to Leach Homestead campground

This was by far the best hip camp ive ever been to. We are so happy we found Victor’s little slice of heaven. I believe every camper and angler should experience this place!! There are so many things to see or do on this property. We asked where the fish sit in the lake and he told us “wherever you can cast” and he was not lying!! We caught SO many fish this weekend and even cooked up some bream on the fire for dinner. The road was no problem, you couldnt hear it that much from our tent anyways. Even if you feel like it is the property is so big theres a spot somewhere for everyone. Victor even let us borrow a table and an extra chair. The shower and toilet was such a great addition as well. Victor was extremely nice and helpful, and came and checked to see if we were catching fish. He was an awesome host and we will 100% be back ASAP!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The park is in immaculate shape. As tent campers, It was wonderful having access to the shower house and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground

Olivia was so sweet helping us coordinate arrival at Sweetwater. There ended up being a huge storm so we did not stay, however she was super accommodating and we will 100% be back - it looks like such a sweet oasis and we are excited to fish in her families waterways!

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

Great site, short walk to the lake edge where we put in our kayaks. Wood pallet was generous and set up was nice. We saw a bald eagle minutes after making a toast to those fighting overseas (can’t make this stuff up)! Found a 1965 nickel on the ground, wonder what other hidden historic secrets are in this area. Awesome campsite!

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm and Agripark

The cabin was cozy and peaceful, by a nice little pond. Could use a bit more kitchen equipment like pots and pans, but otherwise sufficiently equipped. The heater worked great to keep us warm on cold evenings. My son loved seeing the beautiful horses and animals, and playing with the very friendly farm dogs who kept us company. George and their daughter were friendly and nice to chat to. Thank you for a fun stay on your beautiful farm!

Weekend Trip to Sweetwater Lake Campground

This was a perfect place to stop for the night! Quiet, safe, and everything taken care of. She even had a fire going for me when I arrived! I would love to go back when I have more time to spend on the lake.

This spot totally blew us away. Seriously, the vibes were immaculate. And those fresh eggs? Don't even get me started. So good, like sunshine on a plate. We're already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem, for sure. Can't wait to go back and soak it all in again. It's the kind of place that just makes you happy.

Jesse was outstanding, He was really nice and communicative, sadly we had to leave early because of the weather, was really windy and colder that we expected for that day, ( check the weather really carfuly before planning your trip, totally my fault) even so, he offered to pay a full refund. Campsite Overlooking Lake at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds is a beutifull place with a lot of things to do an collect good memories with your love ones.

What a great stay! We were arriving right at sunset, so Jesse sent a video on exactly where to find the campsite. The area was quiet and peaceful, and we were able to find plenty of firewood. In the morning, we were able to get some fresh well water and meet the dogs! Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm and Agripark

Incredibly peaceful! Set in a hollow with a small pond next to it available to kayak (provided) & fish. Horses set up on the hillside. Plenty of other animals to enjoy as well. Hosts are perfectly welcoming & there if/when you need them. It offers the opportunity to unplug from the world and enjoy simple living with a touch of all the amenities you may need without the digital distractions...Splendidly perfect!

Weekend Trip to Utopia Farm Camping

This property was ideal for our family gathering! The kids all had a blast, and Ray and Cindy were such excellent hosts. There are horses, goats, donkeys, chickens/roosters, and a nice little trail around the property. Having the barn with full bathroom and full kitchen made life a lot easier. We also enjoyed spending time in the heated/cooled living area. Would definitely recommend!

This place will exceed your expectations. Really nice folks own/run the place. Beautiful land with friendly animals no complaints at all. The barn and common areas are just a huge cherry on top from what I was really expecting when I set out to go camping.

We had a great time staying at Victor’s place! He was very accommodating to our needs and met us when we were rolling in late after dark. Property was beautiful and so fun to explore. Blue, the dog, was very sweet and even roamed the property with us and our dogs! Would highly recommend staying here 😊

I've been doing a lot of gravel riding on my bicycle, and this site is perfect for it. Big Creek RV is conveniently located right next to the roads I've been riding. I can't wait to take a kayak next time since it's situated right by the water.

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? There are still homes, graveyards, Wise Ferry Bridge still underwater. A B-25 Mitchell plane crashed into the Lake during WWII. Our traffic circle was accidentally bombed one Oct. night in 1944. We are 30 miles from Columbia, SC, our state capital. Learn more about this land: We are a working farm of grass-fed beef, free-range laying hens and ducks, seasonal vegetables; fruits, honey hives, goats, donkeys and horses. We are surrounded by families who have lived on their land for many generations. No subdivisions. Great place to star gaze without street lights. We have 2 sites with water and electricity for camping. Our large barn has a full kitchen, full bath and den area for campers to share. Yet, we are just a few miles from 2 boat ramps on Lake Murray which offers fishing and boating. Also, we are just 30 miles from metropolitan Columbia, historic Newberry, and 15 miles from the town of Lexington, SC. The Capital City of Columbia, just 30 miles east, offers Riverbanks Zoo, Richland County’s Congaree National Park, Saluda Shoals Park, EdVenture Children’s Museum. The Newberry Opera House is 36 miles away and The Big Mo Drive-in Theatre is in Monetta, 13 miles. Indian Trail Public Golf Course is 15 miles in Leesville. Or just hang out at the farm, view the animals, or fish in our pond. We have stalls available for equestrian travelers and a trail around the property to walk or ride your horse. Pets must be on lease or voice control and poop scooping is not an option. No WiFi yet.

The tree house comes with all amenities for our guest and has an upper deck with seating and a charcoal grill. We do allow pets. The house is on a mini split system for heat and air. We do live on the property and use the deck under the treehouse as there is a bathroom there and a tool room.
