Close to Columbia ( 30 minutes ) for a nice trip to the zoo or a float down the Saluda River with Adventure Carolina. A perfect mix of nice and quite but still close to town. Also just in Synchronous fireflies, which are fireflies that gather and flash their lights at the same time as part of a mating ritual, are expected to light up the Congaree National Park in May. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

Eden is a unique campground. We have a couples camper thats fully stocked with games, wifi, bluetooth speakers, coffee maker, wine glasses, firewood, the camper has a (queen sized bed and a bench for a small child) all toiletries, bedding, etc. Our large tent site will easily fit two tents if needed and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Our clothing optional farm offers access to sandy roads for riding horses and 4 wheelers, a sand pit is also close by for some exciting 4 wheeler action. Three of us stayed for two below-freezing but delightful November nights at Too Many Oaks (site 1). Our goal was privacy and being in nature, and this location is definitely that! We were the only campers there at the time, but I think it would have been reasonably private even if the other site was also taken. Mike kindly allowed us to use his bathroom and kitchen, which are rustic but way better than washing dishes outside when it’s 29F! He also had plenty of wood for our camp fire. The sky was super dark even with a bright moon, and the stars were spectacular. The location was about a 40 minute pleasant drive through pines and cotton fields to Congaree National Park.
Google Maps tried to navigate us directly to the property off Rt 26. Doesn’t work! Make sure you get the full address - HipCamp didn’t provide it to us. Mike was very fast with responses when we reached out for a last minute booking and then afterward for the address.
If we drive from Philly to Florida again, we’ll definitely stay here!

Camp site was amazing. Jame's was very accommodating allowing me to switch sites when I realized there was no power on the site I originally booked. Location is beautiful. No light polution, can see tons of stars at night. Bathroom and shower are small but heated and air conditioned with plenty of hot water. Easy access trails to the restroom/shower. Had a lovely time.

Great site. Fishing was good. Caught 24 lb. Catfish, a Bluegill and a large mouth Bass. Neighbors were a little loud but overall, great place to enjoy nature. Clean facilities and grounds! We will be back.
