The cozy A-frame cabin sits beside the creek and offer tons of charm. Three rustic, historic cabins have been thoughtfully restored to preserve their old charm while adding modern comforts. Each cabin features either a roll-down cover or glass doors that open you to the outdoors, plus the amenities that make camping easy. We also offer two tent sites and a lovely bathhouse with two private rooms (each with sink, shower, and toilet), plus an outdoor shower in the warmer months.

Welcome to the grand opening of the Beary Cozy Treehouse! We're excited to share our newly completed treehome away from home nestled on Bearwallow Mountain between Asheville and Hendersonville. Finished in February 2026, the cabin is built between four mature mountainside trees and fully stocked with all the essentials. Inside the house you'll find one bedroom, one bathroom, living room, and loft with hammock net. The outdoor space includes a large deck with rocking chairs and hot tub.
The bedroom has a queen bed and memory foam mattress. The bathroom comes complete with a three headed waterfall shower that can also turn the space into a cedar lined steam room. The living room has one side entirely walled with picture windows facing out to Apple Valley, a chaise sectional couch that converts to a queen size pull out bed, and Roku TV. The kitchen contains a small fridge, small freezer, four burner cooktop, air fryer, microwave, blender, and coffee maker. Nestled behind the stairs is an old school diner bench dinette with fresh Cherry wood slab table. Upstairs you'll a cozy loft space with a queen size pull out couch and hammock net. Curl up in a blanket, kick your feet up and get a bird's eye view from the tree tops through the loft windows.
We've got wifi, towels, linens, a guidebook and all the basics waiting for you. The treehouse was amazing! It is thoughtfully layed out & just beautiful to wake up in the trees! This is my 2nd time to CSBC ( rented the corn crib before 2 yrs ago). Can see all the improvements made on the land. Super convenient to Flat Rock ( went to Carl Sandburg house) & Hendersonville for the Apple Festival. My friends are all jealous after seeing the pictures & hopefully they’ll book a night or two in the future.

The tree house was so lovely! The beds were comfy, it was incredibly clean, and it was so relaxing. Our kids loved the little fairy houses tucked in the woods.
We had fun exploring the property. For longer hikes, it was convenient to Dupont and Flat Rock.
I would definitely recommend for families (the loft easily slept our 4 and 7 year old). It would also be perfect for a couples trip!

The treehouse is outstanding, well equipped with a very nice bathroom and cosy kitchen. Don’t expect much extra space up in the trees, but sitting out on the deck sipping coffee in the morning is priceless! Had heavy rain one night, and stayed dry inside playing cards. Very cosy!

Excellent example of what a true Treehouse should be. This tree house is supported by four large trees 3 of which are growing through the deck and front porch. There is one tree that is actually inside your bathroom next to the shower. The treehouse is wonderful sitting high above the road below. Beautiful sight when leaves are off the tree as you come up the driveway. Our camp host was great checked on us occasionally. Definitely respected your privacy. The Treehouse has many windows sliding door and glass porch door as well as sliding bathroom door with frosted glass top panel. My wife was a little taken aback at the lack of privacy curtains but she soon got used to the fact that it was still very private. Opening the windows with screens allows the air to circulate through the cabin. The central heat and air is great for when you want to be warm or get really cool. There is a small in-wall thermostatically controlled heater in the bathroom. You can turn it from warm to hot and it will cut itself on and off intermittently. Definitely nice when you're in the bathroom and you vent the sliding windows. Be aware there is no television however we streamed music and video streaming services on our tablet if we wanted something to listen to or watch. We have Verizon cellular service and had decent connection with no problem streaming. Again you're in a treehouse in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina unplug and enjoy.
