Weekend Trip to Friendly Fowl Farm

My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

The location on Google maps is accurate, but to find the last stretch you have to offroad a bit. RAV4s can get in all day, but I'd be worried about sportier sedans. The 5 sites are pretty much next to each other in a forested area. Has an outhouse (vault toilet) and a porta potty. They also have firewood for sale on site which is nice. Overall pretty bare-bones for a campsite but gets the job done and location is great!

I was the only one there camping in a tent. I felt very comfortable and safe and it was nice to have an outlet to charge my laptop. I had an amazing stay while I was there. The staff was so nice and helpful.. The farm was in beautiful condition. The animals looked happy and I loved waking up to the roosters Crow in the morning. The hiking trails were a pleasant surprise to have. They’re very well maintained. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. I got the bottle feed the baby goats in the morning and that was so much fun. They were so cute. There is a Dollar General right down the road if you need anything. I will be back I highly recommend..

We also really enjoyed sharing the space with another camper — everyone was very friendly and very generous, which made the experience even more special. Hanscomb point plantation gave us all we could handle and then some. Beautiful sites, perfect tree coverage due to our weather situation, Interesting pathways to travel due to that weather, but all in all a fantastic experience for our Troop to rest and grow as campers while staying in the area for the weekend. Thank you for the opportunity to stay on your land, some of those water hazards worried me for a bit when traveling out, but we managed like true scouts and blazed new pathways forward along the way. Would recommend your camping area to any asking.

I love this Hip camp site! I can't really say enough about it. Although, it rained for two of my three days I still made the best of it. I definitely would recommend for camping, tent , car , RV... They can accommodate you. And there is so much space and trails around the property to walk.
