Apply named Too Many Oaks Plantation, a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy time in your hammock reading by day and a roaring bonfire by night, We are planting a small mixed fruit orchard and building a chicken coop and garden to enjoy fresh eggs and whatever is in season.
Close to Columbia ( 30 minutes ) for a nice trip to the zoo or a float down the Saluda River with Adventure Carolina. A perfect mix of nice and quite but still close to town. Also just in Synchronous fireflies, which are fireflies that gather and flash their lights at the same time as part of a mating ritual, are expected to light up the Congaree National Park in May. Eden is a unique campground. We have a couples camper thats fully stocked with games, wifi, bluetooth speakers, coffee maker, wine glasses, firewood, the camper has a (queen sized bed and a bench for a small child) all toiletries, bedding, etc. Our large tent site will easily fit two tents if needed and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Both sites have wifi, power, and water along with a grill, fire pit, seats, tables, and fire wood and EVERYTHING else you will need for a relaxing time! The tent site is wooded and both sit along a fern covered creek. For those who like to hike, we have a 5 acre tree canopied nature trail with seating that let's you sit in peace with the birds, squirrel, and the occasional deer.
While your here we have fresh eggs, and herbs from the garden. Just let me know at check in. Locally there are tons of farms, lakes, parks, amazing eateries. Absolutely the best one I’ve been to so far. Lovely, clean, easy to get in and out, and very private. Even has a little covered area with lights and a fan. If you’re driving through Saluda, this is the perfect spot for an RV or tent. Oh! And James is super nice and very helpful. He shows that he truly cares about his property and guests.

Lovely little campground with a nice walking trail, clean restrooms and laundry. We spent one day at Santee State Park and another at Congeree National Forest which were within 40 minutes. The animals are clean, well cared for and a delight to meet.

This was our third time staying at Outside Inn. We love this campground so much. We stay on our way to & from Florida every winter from Virginia. We stayed for Christmas this time. It’s one if not our favorite place to stay. It’s always so clean & quiet. Very peaceful & everyone is super nice, welcoming & helpful. The animals are the sweetest & it just has that warm, farm life vibe. We look forward to staying again next winter.

Three of us stayed for two below-freezing but delightful November nights at Too Many Oaks (site 1). Our goal was privacy and being in nature, and this location is definitely that! We were the only campers there at the time, but I think it would have been reasonably private even if the other site was also taken. Mike kindly allowed us to use his bathroom and kitchen, which are rustic but way better than washing dishes outside when it’s 29F! He also had plenty of wood for our camp fire. The sky was super dark even with a bright moon, and the stars were spectacular. The location was about a 40 minute pleasant drive through pines and cotton fields to Congaree National Park.
Google Maps tried to navigate us directly to the property off Rt 26. Doesn’t work! Make sure you get the full address - HipCamp didn’t provide it to us. Mike was very fast with responses when we reached out for a last minute booking and then afterward for the address.
If we drive from Philly to Florida again, we’ll definitely stay here!

I was the only one there camping in a tent. I felt very comfortable and safe and it was nice to have an outlet to charge my laptop.
I had an amazing stay while I was there. The staff was so nice and helpful.. The farm was in beautiful condition. The animals looked happy and I loved waking up to the roosters Crow in the morning. The hiking trails were a pleasant surprise to have. They’re very well maintained. The bathroom was clean and very pretty.
I got the bottle feed the baby goats in the morning and that was so much fun. They were so cute.
There is a Dollar General right down the road if you need anything.
I will be back I highly recommend..
