I know this is listed as an RV spot but it’s also a great tent spot & car camping area as well. Been here a few times and will be back again. Private, safe and scenic, what else could you ask for. Theres also a clean porta potty on site and an epic, natural stone firepit.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! The host was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond! She was amazing! It made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. We brought our two kids and our German Shepherd!
The campsite was peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It was also great because it was super close to stores and restaurants as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily come back again. Highly highly recommend for families and dog owners! 🏕️🐾✨

KSJoy’s property was as described and a nice spot to hang out for a couple of days before the busy holiday season kicks in. Full electric hookup. No water this time of year (was just shut off last week). Nice area. Drove around. Followed the host’s recommendations for local food. Great advice! Had our four dogs with us. The property is close to a fairly busy road so having good recall (or we brought a fencing system) is essential. The road noise Fri-Sun in mid Nov. was not an issue. The host was very communicative and answered all questions but was hands off which we liked. Highly recommend.

Loved this site! A little tricky to navigate to, but quite fun that’s it’s hidden away in the woods with not a traffic sound to be heard.
The animals are so cute (fainting goats Marshmallow & Graham Cracker were a huge hit with the toddler), electric hookup is easy and potable water very nearby, and the hosts were so lovely, welcoming us and communicating promptly to make sure we were settled in alright. We got their recs for activities and food in the area, as well- would love to return to Mystic, and when we do, we’ll be staying here again!

Jim and Amy’s spot might not be the traditional Hipcamp setting (it’s in their driveway) but it’s the perfect place to explore Newport if you’re in an RV. Just park and you’re a short walk to downtown and the water with easy access to drive the famous Ocean Drive. And as hosts, you won’t find any better. Experts on the area/history and always willing to assist with anything you need…and don’t miss out on the campfire experience in the backyard—it’s a great hang!

The spot was perfect. Electric and water set up was spot on. Super close to Mystic, few town roads being you right there, which was what we were looking for. Chris was super responsive and the whole experience was lovely.

We grabbed the opportunity for one last (?) nice weekend near the beach and wow did we hit it! 70's , sunny mostly and water clear green & absolutely delicious, clearing on Sunday for another walk with dogs and friends. THANK YOU KS Joy for helping make it happen!!

Probably better for smaller campers because of the path up to the campsite. But once there, a secluded spot. The owner is very friendly and helpful and communicates well.
