Learn more about this land: You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

We are a bit of a holdover-and we take our stewardship role of this farming legacy quite seriously. Despite our glorious natural setting, we are actually very close to all the places people want to visit in RI-including Providence (15 minutes), Newport (30 minutes) beaches (15-40 depending on which one you chose) and a bunch of parks and hiking areas (15-45 minutes max). Weekend Trip to Getaway Ranch

We had such a lovely trip! The treehouse was amazing and beautiful. Our host was just as amazing. Willing to recharge our batteries or offer us anything we may have needed. We will definitely be coming again in the future. It was so nice to wake up to the peaceful sounds of bird chirping and having coffee over the water.

The Barn! that sleeps 16+ people and just shows how gorgeous this property is.

Susan was a wonderful host, accommodating our lateish arrival and helping us navigate to the cabin in the dark. The cabin is so lovely and cozy with lots of thoughtful details and comfortable beds. It was the first really cold night this fall and Susan left a space heater on for us and heated blankets that made for a very comfortable stay. We had some compost toilet challenges that Susan was kind about. I also definitely recommend the shared bathrooms at the front entrance which are clean and heated with flush toilets and showers. I highly recommend this cabin and would gladly stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Mishnoah Retreat

My friend and I stayed at Lark cabin while we were participating in the art festival at Roseland cottage in Woodstock, Connecticut. The cabin had everything we needed and was just adorable inside. We only stayed one night and didn’t have a chance to enjoy the camp as much as we would have liked. Sue had set up the fire pit for us and we didn’t get to enjoy it because we were so tired. The beds were super comfortable and cozy, even though the temperature was unseasonably cold we had no trouble sleeping. I really enjoyed using the sauna. We look forward to coming back when we can stay longer. The only mistake we made was thinking we would be able to find a restaurant in Holland, so we ended up in Sturbridge for dinner. Next time I’ll be more prepared.

My daughter enjoyed our overnight in the Owl Cabin. Spacious, clean, and very comfortable! We enjoyed the kayaks, and saw an eagle pass over! The fire pit in the yard was wonderful for a chilly fall night. Susan greeted us and was available for anything we needed. I definitely would stay again.

Quaint fall getaway! We had originally booked Georgie's Cottage but were moved to an interior suite. It was more than adequate in size for our two large dogs. Only disappoinment was no shower or refrigerator in the room. It was a bit dusty but nicely furnished with a double day bed and twin bed. Lots of nice plants in pots. Chai, pastries and tangerines for breakfast were nice.

We (myself and 2 young daughters) LOVED it here!! Our friends stayed in another cabin right near ours, which was great. The cabins each had everything we needed, all little details accounted for! We loved going out in the kayaks, warming up in the sauna in the room, and sleeping in the cozy beds and blankets at night. The bathhouse had a very nice full bath and dish-washing area. Our cabin did not have its own fire pit, but the other did, and there was a community one available right nearby. There was a nice-sized mini-fridge, a one-burner cooktop, coffee maker with great coffee, and basic cooking/eating supplies. The dry-flush toilet and pump sink in the cabin were a great convenience! Very reminiscent of old sleepover camp days and still manages to be rustic, but much cuter, more comfortable, and more convenient!
