Come and enjoy WNY winter sports!! We are ideally located for skiing, tubing and boarding directly between Peek N Peek (43 miles) or Holiday Valley (40 miles). There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. We do have a separate living space in our barn so only parking is shared. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. *Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

We recently stayed at this cabin for our anniversary weekend to explore lake Erie and it was the absolute perfect choice for a getaway. The cabin itself is incredibly cozy and inviting; it has that warm, charming atmosphere that makes it hard to leave once you’ve settled in.
One thing we were curious about before arriving was the location, given its proximity to the road and railroad tracks. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was very quiet throughout our stay. The background noise blended in and It truly didn't impact the peacefulness of the weekend at all!
A quick tip for future guests: The cabin is well-stocked with some basic essentials, including the power station. which was incredibly helpful not needing to set up ours. I would recommend bringing along your own "goodies"—drinking waters, your favorite coffee, snacks, or specific pantry items—to really round out your stay. It’s the perfect setup if you like having the basics provided but want to personalize your treats.
Overall, we had an amazing experience. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

We loved our trip! It was a perfect weekend get away for our family. We walked in the river, swam, went fishing, and just relaxed. We came with our 9 year old and 1 year old, they both had a great time!
The site has a nice covered pavilion with a gas grill, fire pit with a swing near by. The kitchen has a two burner stove, toaster over, fridge, keurig coffee maker, and sink. Hot water, AC, and dvd player and a ton of DVDs which was nice when the storm rolled in.
We definitely plan to come back for more outdoor adventures

Weekend Trip to Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST
I hate to even leave this review because I'm afraid once people know it won't be available as much as I will want it! What an amazing place. The cabin is absolutely adorable and peaceful (we didn't notice the traffic and when you did hear the train it was actually soothing). It was so amazing to use a record player again, I haven't done that in years. You are given it great little map to the trails and art you'll find behind the cabin which was beautiful and touched your soul. It poured the entire time we were there and was still once of the most amazing Hipcamp experiences we've had. The hosts are absolutely amazing. Would leave you alone if that's what you wanted or would be there right away with help if needed. I can't say enough about this one! Will be going back every chance I get!!!!

I loved Bison Trace Luxury Campground. Leigh & Matt were beyond accommodating to our family. We were the only campers for the weekend and they made us feel welcome. They even opened their bourbon bar just for us. Coffee shop/breakfast cafe is adorable and my kids loved it. Our dog got to run in the dog park all to herself. We loved the recreation/game hall, there was so much to keep the kids occupied. We overpacked our own things, when there was no need. They provide everything, the shower has towels, robes, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They even provided additional blankets and crayons for the kids. Awesome experience with small children, would definitely recommend.

Angie was there to greet us- everything was so straightforward and easy to figure out on our own! The hot tub room was so clean- i wish we had a little more time to really enjoy all the amenities provided by this hipcamp spot!!
The shared shower was immaculate and had any soap you could imagine! It was amazing to get woken up to with breakfast too- Angie is doing great things with her business here👏🏻

We had plenty of wood!! I know that sounds so silly, but it's such an awesome perk to not have to search around to buy wood or be a scavenger for it! Oh, and the spot light to the "office" was great! Didn't have to find a flashlight or headlamp to go in the middle of the night! We went hiking everyday and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place and watch a dvd and make dinner!

We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay.
We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back.
For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy.
If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had.
Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This trip was absolutely amazing. Brian is an attentive and friendly host with the utmost care for hosting people. The cabin was well-equipped and so incredibly cozy. We love the location, close enough to Tim Horton’s for us to grab coffee but on property that feels secluded and perfectly quiet and peaceful. For it being winter, we were lucky to have had the most incredible weather for February, giving us the opportunity to walk through the woods, explore and enjoy how beautiful the woods are with the snow. We will absolutely be back in other seasons, there was still so much for us to do and see in the area! Thank you, Brian for everything!

You are tucked away against a large creek if you like water activities. Nearby hiking trails. Check out the butcher shop in Sheffield if you like to grill!
