We loved our trip! It was a perfect weekend get away for our family. We walked in the river, swam, went fishing, and just relaxed. We came with our 9 year old and 1 year old, they both had a great time! The site has a nice covered pavilion with a gas grill, fire pit with a swing near by. The kitchen has a two burner stove, toaster over, fridge, keurig coffee maker, and sink. Hot water, AC, and dvd player and a ton of DVDs which was nice when the storm rolled in. We definitely plan to come back for more outdoor adventures

Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping

I loved Bison Trace Luxury Campground. Leigh & Matt were beyond accommodating to our family. We were the only campers for the weekend and they made us feel welcome. They even opened their bourbon bar just for us. Coffee shop/breakfast cafe is adorable and my kids loved it. Our dog got to run in the dog park all to herself. We loved the recreation/game hall, there was so much to keep the kids occupied. We overpacked our own things, when there was no need. They provide everything, the shower has towels, robes, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They even provided additional blankets and crayons for the kids. Awesome experience with small children, would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

Troy's campsite is exactly as described & pictured! It was a damp, drizzly Memorial Day weekend but being able to open the doors is the best of both worlds, you get the feel of being outside while being protected from the weather! The thought he put into the beautiful rustic cabin is the icing on the cake. Troy was also kind enough to offer for us to stay a few hours extra since he didn't have another booking. It made for a nice, slow, relaxing pack up for us. Thank you again Troy, we had a wonderful time!

Weekend Trip to Elk Valley Creekside

My husband and I booked our stay for our first wedding anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time and made long lasting memories. The camp area is perfectly set up for cooking and enjoying the fire at night and snuggling up in a warm tent at the end of the day. There’s also amazing fishing for my husband in great trails for us to walk with the dog. We would love to come back again. The host was amazing and offered to help us with whatever we needed.

Weekend Trip to The Highlander

We had plenty of wood!! I know that sounds so silly, but it's such an awesome perk to not have to search around to buy wood or be a scavenger for it! Oh, and the spot light to the "office" was great! Didn't have to find a flashlight or headlamp to go in the middle of the night! We went hiking everyday and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place and watch a dvd and make dinner!

We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back. For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy. If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had. Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Weekend Trip to Elk Valley Creekside

My family and I have camped here on several occasions now and it’s always great. Elk Creek is just outside the door of the tent with a gushing waterfall on the other side of the stream that is really great to listen to while you sit on the deck out front and read a book or if you choose to head to bed and just listen to the peepers and the water, that’s great too! We can’t wait to try a winter adventure at the site and fish for steelhead.

I recommend this site. Troy is a great and responsive host. The cabin is very clean and is exactly as pictured. It has many thoughtful conveniences (a plastic cooler built into the bar top, in case you bring ice and drinks, a charging station for phones, interior and exterior lights on remote controls, etc etc). The bathroom is very clean. The cabin was stocked with a generous supply of firewood. (I only used the indoor iron stove, and not the outdoor fire pit, as it was raining both nights I stayed there. But both options can add enjoyment to your stay.) The cabin sits on a scenic property. The grounds immediately around the cabin are very nicely maintained (green, mowed grass, trees, benches, etc). Beyond the immediate grounds is farmland that is enjoyable to look out over. I had a very positive experience and recommend this property.
