The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Weekend Trip to Seven Mountains Campground

I loved the tiny home. My partner and I had a great time. Definitely bring cooking equipment though if you plan to cook. I wasn’t sure whether to bring any, and saw it said it had basic cooking equipment but it wasn’t much to work with. Other than that everything was great. Easy to navigate and arrived without issue. Came late so couldn’t find the cabin, but customer service was great and helped navigate us in the dark. Would definitely recommend and come back to the campground when it’s warmer out!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Mr ,Russ the GM. The cabin fire was prelit for us and it was really toasty. Thanks Russ! We recommend bringing lots of water and lanterns as there is no running water or electricity at the saw mill. This is a wonderful place to go and enjoy ,

2 nights at Fairview Farms Airfield

Our time in the treehouse was magical. It was my 13 year old son and I. He is 6’1” and he was able to comfortably sleep in the loft. Bill and everyone at Fairview Farms was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The stargazing was phenomenal; I highly recommend a dip in the hot tub under the stars. I would recommend bringing a heated blanket in the colder months. I brought ours and it was the perfect mix of cold and snuggly warm. There is a heater that works like a charm, with the blanket we only used it during the day.

this place was very beautiful and peaceful if your staying in the fall/winter I recommend bringing a heater and extra covers but a great place to stay especially if you love star gazing

Weekend Trip to Fairview Farms Airfield

We stayed at Fairview Farms Airfield in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, and it was one of the most peaceful weekends we’ve had in a long time. The property is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills and open fields that make you instantly relax. It’s quiet, private, and feels like a place where time slows down. Bill was great to talk with—friendly, easygoing, and made sure we had what we needed. The site was level and easy to set up our camper. We really appreciated the thirty dollars a day for unlimited firewood. That was a nice touch, and we made sure not to take advantage of it. Sitting by the fire at night with the stars out and the moon glowing over the ridge was perfect. My dog loved it too, watching everything from the camper window and enjoying the calm. The place has a simple charm that makes you want to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back.

The Tiny Home was nothing less than amazing!!! First time experience and it was wonderful!!! My spouse was very impressed and happy and enjoyed her birthday surprise!!!! A very much needed treat for the both of us. DEFINITELY will be back!!!

We spent 2 nights and had a nice stay. It was cooler weather so not many people camping, nice and quiet. Rus who manages the campground was awesome. Friendly, helpful, fun guy. Some feedback for the Hipcamp listing, all we got was an address which lead us to a cabin a mile or so away from the actual site. We had to knock on someone’s door to get help figuring out where to go. I had messaged the host early in the day to let them know when we’d be arriving. No response.

5 nights at Pear Tree Cove

Pear Cove is a great place to stay. We have stayed several times to watch our daughter’s final season playing soccer for a local college. We have always had a great time with no issues. The pad is as nice as you will find with newly poured concrete and equally new full hookups. The pad is the perfect size for our 30ft class A. It is a quiet location in the country but only 10 minutes to Lock Haven University and any amenities you may need. The hosts are also awesome people that make sure all is as it should be. We highly recommend this location.

Cabin was amazing. Beyond clean, sleek, with modern functions. I got it especially for the hottub lol. Highly recommend checking out the antique stores in the area, and Big Valley antiques 40 mins away, a true shoppers haven. Can't speak for the food in the area since I brought my own. But well worth the trip and will tell all my friends.

Open field site with a lovely overlook of the river. I checked in at the main office, took the offer for their (permanent? sleeps 4-6) tent on the property, and the host even kindly helped jump start my car on my last morning as it had had some battery issues recently. Wifi available but spotty far away from the main office, I didn't have a chance to check out the bath facilities.

3 nights at The Bellefonte Campground

Best campground I've stayed at, hands down. Neat as a pin, quiet, no amenity neglected or forgotten. Tiny house #80 is just perfect - you can't go wrong. Comfortable beds, lots of space (for at least 3 adults or more), great drip coffee (supplied), plenty of towels and TP, hot water galore, comfortable couch and dinner table, generously sized refrigerator and cool little kitchenette (and if it's your thing, 3 flat screen TVs - one in each BR!). I highly recommend Bellefonte Campground. We will be back!!
