The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We will be decorated for Halloween. We are currently working a scary trail. Pitch your tent along Irish Creek under a canopy of Maples at Mystic Hollow. Irish Creek stream is a tributary to the Schuylkill River. The land is mostly flat for walking to camping area. There is also a small bridge that goes over a small strip of wetlands. Fire rings are included. I can haul your gear to your spot with tractor and wagon if needed. There is a port-a-potty close by. If you have your own portapotty, you must take the waste with you. We have no way to dispose of human waste. Absolutely no disposing of human waste on the property or in the trash. There will be a fine. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we are not at full capacity. Just let us know ahead of time. We allow dogs. They must be on leashes unless they are friendly and play well with others. You must clean up your dog's poop! No exceptions! We are 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River. 10 minutes from Ontelaunee Lake. 15 minutes from Blue Marsh. 15 minutes from the Appalacian Trail. Trail heads nearby Port Clinton, Hamburg, Bernville, Bethel, Blue Rocks, Kempton... 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain. We are an hour from Jim Thorpe. There are several wineries in the area including Long Trout Winery where wine is cool and hippy chicks rule! My favorite! Lots of wildlife. Expect to hear owls, blue heron, cows, goats, chickens, hawks, eagles, dogs, racoons and coyotes. Racoons will steal food that is not put away or in coolers. Deer may walk past in the middle of the night. Hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, bike trails, etc... all nearby. Sadly there are no fish in Irish Creek worth catching. The Crayfish are! As with any land situated along a water source, there is always a possibility of flooding. We flood maybe once a year, once every other year. If that should happen, we will assist in hauling gear. There is higher ground for tents to be set up if need be. There will also be rooms available to rent in the near future. Six years later, the first tree was sold and since then, the farm has expanded its operations to Bernville, Pa. Camp on our 16 acre Christmas tree farm in an Amish neighbors with horses. Within 30 minute drive to Hershey park, Mt Gretna , Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York. Enjoy hiking and biking trails nearby and the many attractions. We have excellent cell reception on our farm. Great view for star gazing and sunsets. Firewood available for purchase. We have a stone parking lot for RV campers. Two sites can also accommodate RV’s. We will reserve these sites. Tent campers can set up in the trees and lanes. An outdoor portable toilet is available and water is available at an outside spigot. We are open April through October. We have 6 sites available with fire pits. You are able to drive and park next to the site. Sites are available first come first served. Note: For the winter months we are closed, we reopen in march. The furthest we are open at any given moment is about six months. We close when hunting season comes in during the fall. Description of camp: This is not a glampsite! There are limited utilities here. No Drinking water, just water for the fire. There is a self serve firewood store, you may also forage dead wood. Here only one group may camp at a time. The campsite is a big level hilltop clearing surrounded by acres of woods. There is stone driveway that leads to the site that gets you back into the woods. The driveway is wide enough for trucks, trailers, vans, etc. Since the site is up high it gets a great breeze which helps on warm days and gets good cell service. The campsite gets great sun and has shaded areas along the sides that make for good tent pitching. We have had people set up hammocks, tents, tarps, or camp in their vehicle. We provide a privy (outhouse), an outdoor showerroom/changing room, picnic tables, and a metal fire pit with grill rack that you can put in the fire pit if you wish to cook/grill over it. The woods are hilly so biking is not recomended. On the property we have 2+ miles of hiking trails. PLEASE feel free to contact us for any questions. Also please look at our pictures for a better idea of what we offer. Nearby Activities: A short drive from here will take you to Gettysburg, York, or Hanover. Codorus park offers great hiking and is next to a lake. There are many excellent restaurants and brewpubs nearby, including the award winning Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub. Campsite #3 (High Site) Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm. It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing............. Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site. Car accessible, no walking to campsite required. At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies. Elmlock was named by MJ's Grandfather for the majestic Elm trees that once graced the property and banks of the Tulpehocken Stream passing through the Union Canal lock. These beautiful trees were devastated by the Dutch Elm Disease in the early 20th century. Elmlock and the surrounding area was surveyed by non other than George Washington as plans were formulating to build a canal system to join the Schuylkill and Susquehanna Rivers. The General stayed with his friend Captain Michael Lei on the adjacent farm, once known as the Tulpehocken Manor when visiting the area. The ruins of one of the canal locks remains on the Elmlock property adjacent to the camping area. The 1838 stone farmhouse was built by the Spengler family and acquired by MJ's Grandfather in 1913. MJ's pottery studio is a local "Town Barn" that was relocated piece by piece to Elmlock by MJ"s brother, a Historic Restoration Specialist, in 1974. He also restored the Bake Oven on the property's Summer Kitchen. Our property features an historic canal lock from 1828 Union Canal and a stream that runs through it. There is a RR track that runs just south of our camp about 10acres away For campers who love to watch or hear trains you'll have plenty of opportunity to do so!  You can enjoy fishing and playing in the water, which is fresh, clean limestone water from a nearby quarry. We also have two small goats on the property. Farm land surrounds the property, wooded area and cattle nearby. This is a secluded property but less than a mile from Rt 422. You can bike along the many back roads nearby!  We also offer pottery classes, drawing classes, painting classes, and also Medicinal wild plants walk etc. for an additional fee.  See our extras below if you are interested! You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land! We have two campsites available for you to choose between for your stay. Both sites are along the creek, however, one has a view of some nearby houses and is a short walk to the parking spot [Creekside]. The other site is more secluded, past the tree line, but a further walk from where you are able to park. [Hillside] If needed, we are happy to lend you a wagon to haul your gear. Please let us know if you have questions and your preference of site. We have a cabin-like bathroom and partial kitchen you will have access to during your stay. We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge. There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. All four campsites have creek access and come with picnic table garbage can and fire ring and Firewood is usually available. There are two Porta potty‘s one located at each end of the sites. There are trails for hiking which extends along an abandoned railroad bed and also up into State game lands and into the deep woods. The hiking in the woods is on an incline. But the hiking on the railroad bed is pretty unintense. There is parking at each site. The property backs up to power lines where deer can be seen often. We offer a large fire pit, horse shoe pit, small playground, trampoline, swings, and a small zip line over the creek in the woods. Horseback riding is available on certain weekends only (weight limit of 180 lbs) for an extra charge. Type of riding depends on skill level, leadline to guided trail ride. We cater to couples in this setting. The Hut consists of one room with a Queen bed. We provide all bedding and towels. Enjoy sleeping in our enchanted forest designed shepherds hut. Keep the windows open to listen to the sounds of the creek as it lulls you to sleep. Or, if you re too hot or cold, turn on the portable A/C & heating unit! You will have access to electricity to charge your devices, make coffee and turn on lights! There is no wifi out here, but you can use your own cellular data for internet needs. If you have a child, we can provide a futon, bedding and set of towels for an additional cost of $25. (Keep in mind that the Hut and surrounding area is not child proofed inside/out and open waterway is very close to the hut.) Please let us know as soon as possible so we can have the futon available for your stay. Glamping here is fantastic! You will have a private outdoor shower to use right next to the Hut. Hot water available seasonally. Please confirm with host as to hot water availability. Biodegradable body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap/dish soap is provided and we ask that you use the provided products to help us protect our natural surroundings - especially the creek. A separate toilet room is available right next to the hut as well. It is equipped with a bucket toilet which requires eco- bags and kitty litter (both provided). The full bags are then tied and disposed of in a larger outdoor trash can just outside. Use the fire pit just outside the hut for grilling or use the gas grill with burner that faces the creek. Basic kitchen supplies are provided (please refer to pictures for details). There is also a picnic bench facing the creek. Walk the trail through the property and enjoy the cool shade. Pack a picnic and enjoy eating on the moss covered boulders next to the water, play games in the yard, snooze in a hammock, meditate by the creek or take a swim in the swimming hole. Enjoy privacy while in the hut, or join us on our morning chores (we live in a house on the property), by feeding the animals and gathering fresh eggs. During the day, cross the bridge over the creek to get to the beautifully maintained Conewago Recreation Trail where you can walk or ride bikes. Our rural setting is a relaxing spot to stay after a day of seeing the sites or visiting Hershey Park just 15 minutes away. We are 10 minutes to the train station which will take you to all the surrounding major cities - DC, NY, Philly and others for a day trip too! Experience a bit of history while staying in the Shepherd's Hut. The houses, grist mill and bank barn were built with sandstone brought to the property by wagonloads in the 1770's. Just think! This homestead was built before the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Revolutionary War began! Stay in or explore the 40 acres of property consisting of woodlands, creek and farmland. Irish Creek stream is a tributary to the Schuylkill River. The land is mostly flat for walking to camping area. There is also a small bridge that goes over a small strip of wetlands. Fire rings are included. I can haul your gear to your spot with tractor and wagon if needed. There is a port-a-potty close by. If you have your own portapotty, you must take the waste with you. We have no way to dispose of human waste. Absolutely no disposing of human waste on the property or in the trash. There will be a fine. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we are not at full capacity. Just let us know ahead of time. We allow dogs. They must be on leashes unless they are friendly and play well with others. You must clean up your dog's poop! No exceptions! We are 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River. 10 minutes from Ontelaunee Lake. 15 minutes from Blue Marsh. 15 minutes from the Appalacian Trail. Trail heads nearby Port Clinton, Hamburg, Bernville, Bethel, Blue Rocks, Kempton... 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain. We are an hour from Jim Thorpe. There are several wineries in the area including Long Trout Winery where wine is cool and hippy chicks rule! My favorite! Lots of wildlife. Expect to hear owls, blue heron, cows, goats, chickens, hawks, eagles, dogs, racoons and coyotes. Racoons will steal food that is not put away or in coolers. Deer may walk past in the middle of the night. Hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, bike trails, etc... all nearby. Sadly there are no fish in Irish Creek worth catching. The Crayfish are! As with any land situated along a water source, there is always a possibility of flooding. We flood maybe once a year, once every other year. If that should happen, we will assist in hauling gear. There is higher ground for tents to be set up if need be. There will also be rooms available to rent in the near future. Six years later, the first tree was sold and since then, the farm has expanded its operations to Bernville, Pa. Camp on our 16 acre Christmas tree farm in an Amish neighbors with horses. Within 30 minute drive to Hershey park, Mt Gretna , Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York. Enjoy hiking and biking trails nearby and the many attractions. We have excellent cell reception on our farm. Great view for star gazing and sunsets. Firewood available for purchase. We have a stone parking lot for RV campers. Two sites can also accommodate RV’s. We will reserve these sites. Tent campers can set up in the trees and lanes. An outdoor portable toilet is available and water is available at an outside spigot. We are open April through October. Note: For the winter months we are closed, we reopen in march. The furthest we are open at any given moment is about six months. We close when hunting season comes in during the fall. Description of camp: This is not a glampsite! There are limited utilities here. No Drinking water, just water for the fire. There is a self serve firewood store, you may also forage dead wood. Here only one group may camp at a time. The campsite is a big level hilltop clearing surrounded by acres of woods. There is stone driveway that leads to the site that gets you back into the woods. The driveway is wide enough for trucks, trailers, vans, etc. Since the site is up high it gets a great breeze which helps on warm days and gets good cell service. The campsite gets great sun and has shaded areas along the sides that make for good tent pitching. We have had people set up hammocks, tents, tarps, or camp in their vehicle. We provide a privy (outhouse), an outdoor showerroom/changing room, picnic tables, and a metal fire pit with grill rack that you can put in the fire pit if you wish to cook/grill over it. The woods are hilly so biking is not recomended. On the property we have 2+ miles of hiking trails. PLEASE feel free to contact us for any questions. Also please look at our pictures for a better idea of what we offer. Nearby Activities: A short drive from here will take you to Gettysburg, York, or Hanover. Codorus park offers great hiking and is next to a lake. There are many excellent restaurants and brewpubs nearby, including the award winning Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub. Because we are a tree farm, we cannot allow you to bring wood from other locations on to the farm. Wood is for sale here and we request a pre order so we can have it ready at your site. You may purchase through Hipcamp or directly from us. All sites have a picnic table, a Hawk Shadow Out House, water to wash things, a preparation table and a good bundle of kindling to start off your camping experience. There Is a shovel, cooking grates, log benches and a neat campfire ring. Potable water is available at the farm and you may refill when needed. Campsite #1 (Lean To Site) This site is along the river. It is private and lovely. You may park your car above the site and walk down to the river and camping area. Short, 50 yards, but a steepish walk. Pack in and out accordingly. Very private, lots of space. It is perfect. Campsite #2 (Dog Gone Site) This site is also along the river. It is private and has the same set up as site one. Park your car on top of hill and walk on down. It is a lovely spot. Walk is about 50 yards down a steep hill. Pack accordingly. Campsite #3 (High Site) Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm. It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing............. Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site. Car accessible, no walking to campsite required. At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies. We have a 1.5 acre bass pond on the farm for fishing, so bring your rod. Big bass in there!! Your camp site is surrounded by woods and forest, fields and trees. You are a two hour drive from center city Philadelphia and 2.5 hours from down town New York City. One hour from Harrisburg. What to do here? Plenty! Hiking! The heart of Amish Country is an hour drive. Biking, both country road and mountain. You need your own maps! Fishing in our beautiful river or on our pond! Cabela's in Hamburg is just 15 minutes down the road. But most of all to do here is to relax, fish, play in the river, walk and visit with your family and friends. Elmlock was named by MJ's Grandfather for the majestic Elm trees that once graced the property and banks of the Tulpehocken Stream passing through the Union Canal lock. These beautiful trees were devastated by the Dutch Elm Disease in the early 20th century. Elmlock and the surrounding area was surveyed by non other than George Washington as plans were formulating to build a canal system to join the Schuylkill and Susquehanna Rivers. The General stayed with his friend Captain Michael Lei on the adjacent farm, once known as the Tulpehocken Manor when visiting the area. The ruins of one of the canal locks remains on the Elmlock property adjacent to the camping area. The 1838 stone farmhouse was built by the Spengler family and acquired by MJ's Grandfather in 1913. MJ's pottery studio is a local "Town Barn" that was relocated piece by piece to Elmlock by MJ"s brother, a Historic Restoration Specialist, in 1974. He also restored the Bake Oven on the property's Summer Kitchen. Our property features an historic canal lock from 1828 Union Canal and a stream that runs through it. There is a RR track that runs just south of our camp about 10acres away For campers who love to watch or hear trains you'll have plenty of opportunity to do so!  You can enjoy fishing and playing in the water, which is fresh, clean limestone water from a nearby quarry. We also have two small goats on the property. Farm land surrounds the property, wooded area and cattle nearby. This is a secluded property but less than a mile from Rt 422. We cater to couples in this setting. The Hut consists of one room with a Queen bed. We provide all bedding and towels. Enjoy sleeping in our enchanted forest designed shepherds hut. Keep the windows open to listen to the sounds of the creek as it lulls you to sleep. Or, if you re too hot or cold, turn on the portable A/C & heating unit! You will have access to electricity to charge your devices, make coffee and turn on lights! There is no wifi out here, but you can use your own cellular data for internet needs. If you have a child, we can provide a futon, bedding and set of towels for an additional cost of $25. (Keep in mind that the Hut and surrounding area is not child proofed inside/out and open waterway is very close to the hut.) Please let us know as soon as possible so we can have the futon available for your stay. Glamping here is fantastic! You will have a private outdoor shower to use right next to the Hut. Hot water available seasonally. Please confirm with host as to hot water availability. Biodegradable body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap/dish soap is provided and we ask that you use the provided products to help us protect our natural surroundings - especially the creek. Please keep in mind that water provided to the shower and outdoor sink is not drinkable (not potable), however, we do provide water for drinking/cooking/brushing teeth that is from a 5 gallon bottle with pump dispenser. A separate toilet room is available right next to the hut as well. It is equipped with a bucket toilet which requires eco- bags and kitty litter (both provided). The full bags are then tied and disposed of in a larger outdoor trash can just outside. Use the fire pit just outside the hut for grilling or use the gas grill with burner that faces the creek. Basic kitchen supplies are provided (please refer to pictures for details). There is also a picnic bench facing the creek. Walk the trail through the property and enjoy the cool shade. Pack a picnic and enjoy eating on the moss covered boulders next to the water, play games in the yard, snooze in a hammock, meditate by the creek or take a swim in the swimming hole. Enjoy privacy while in the hut, or join us on our morning chores (we live in a house on the property), by feeding the animals and gathering fresh eggs. During the day, cross the bridge over the creek to get to the beautifully maintained Conewago Recreation Trail where you can walk or ride bikes. Our rural setting is a relaxing spot to stay after a day of seeing the sites or visiting Hershey Park just 15 minutes away. We are 10 minutes to the train station which will take you to all the surrounding major cities - DC, NY, Philly and others for a day trip too! Experience a bit of history while staying in the Shepherd's Hut. The houses, grist mill and bank barn were built with sandstone brought to the property by wagonloads in the 1770's. Just think! This homestead was built before the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Revolutionary War began! Stay in or explore the 40 acres of property consisting of woodlands, creek and farmland. The grist mill and other buildings require host to accompany guests in order to enter and we are happy to give you a tour!

Welcome to Aberdeen Mills-a 40 acre farm and grist mill! Make some memories at this unique and beautiful place! You will be staying in the Shepherd's Hut on the creek. We cater to couples in this setting. The Hut consists of one room with a Queen bed. We provide all bedding and towels. Enjoy sleeping in our enchanted forest designed shepherds hut. Keep the windows open to listen to the sounds of the creek as it lulls you to sleep. Or, if you re too hot or cold, turn on the portable A/C & heating unit! You will have access to electricity to charge your devices, make coffee and turn on lights! There is no wifi out here, but you can use your own cellular data for internet needs. If you have a child, we can provide a futon, bedding and set of towels for an additional cost of $25. (Keep in mind that the Hut and surrounding area is not child proofed inside/out and open waterway is very close to the hut.) Please let us know as soon as possible so we can have the futon available for your stay. Glamping here is fantastic! You will have a private outdoor shower to use right next to the Hut. Hot water available seasonally. Please confirm with host as to hot water availability. Biodegradable body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap/dish soap is provided and we ask that you use the provided products to help us protect our natural surroundings - especially the creek. Please keep in mind that water provided to the shower and outdoor sink is not drinkable (not potable), however, we do provide water for drinking/cooking/brushing teeth that is from a 5 gallon bottle with pump dispenser. A separate toilet room is available right next to the hut as well. It is equipped with a bucket toilet which requires eco- bags and kitty litter (both provided). The full bags are then tied and disposed of in a larger outdoor trash can just outside. Use the fire pit just outside the hut for grilling or use the gas grill with burner that faces the creek. Basic kitchen supplies are provided (please refer to pictures for details). There is also a picnic bench facing the creek. Walk the trail through the property and enjoy the cool shade. Pack a picnic and enjoy eating on the moss covered boulders next to the water, play games in the yard, snooze in a hammock, meditate by the creek or take a swim in the swimming hole. Enjoy privacy while in the hut, or join us on our morning chores (we live in a house on the property), by feeding the animals and gathering fresh eggs. During the day, cross the bridge over the creek to get to the beautifully maintained Conewago Recreation Trail where you can walk or ride bikes. Our rural setting is a relaxing spot to stay after a day of seeing the sites or visiting Hershey Park just 15 minutes away. We are 10 minutes to the train station which will take you to all the surrounding major cities - DC, NY, Philly and others for a day trip too! Experience a bit of history while staying in the Shepherd's Hut. The houses, grist mill and bank barn were built with sandstone brought to the property by wagonloads in the 1770's. Just think! This homestead was built before the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Revolutionary War began! Stay in or explore the 40 acres of property consisting of woodlands, creek and farmland. The grist mill and other buildings require host to accompany guests in order to enter and we are happy to give you a tour!

It had all of the amenities we needed (campfire grate for cooking, unlimited wood, picnic table and benches), and the campsites had enough distance apart from each other. I didn’t get to meet Scott in-person but he was very communicative and accommodating for me and my dogs. I will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful dairy farm and we had the opportunity to take an impromptu hay ride with corn maze employees to check out the Christmas Village which amazing. “A little slice of Americana”. DJ and Loretta were super nice and let us explore the whole farm, talk to the all the cows. Even made a new friend Benny the cat who hung out with us at our campfire. 10/10 We will definitely be back!!!

Bill helped the team with detailed instructions on smoker. Wood was made available at all sites and Bill & Erin even helped by making fires for the different lodging areas. I would highly recommend a stay at Fairview Farms! Bill & Erin went above and beyond to sure we had everything we needed to make this wedding day a reality.

Fantastic stay! The farm is amazing and site #3 was beautiful. We had the perfect weekend. Host was very friendly and the communication was great! We felt very welcome. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is just a few minutes away and the site itself is nicely set up, very quiet and private with a picturesque view of the mountain. Highly recommend! We are already looking forward to returning.

I l-l-l-loved everything about it! A beautiful ride. Arrived at the barn and was met be our charming host. A walk/ride past the farm animals to a seclude area up on a hill. The yurt was so cozy and inviting. Best cot ever. I will never sleep on an air mattress again! Great for one or two people. Plenty of spa e for additional tents if you need that. Big fire pit and LOTS of wood. Easy to cook on the fire pit but bonus propane grill and really convenient and stocked prep/kitchen area. Even soap and water dispenser setup for ease of cleanup. Delicious icy cold well water for drinking, too. We were also gifted some of their honey and eggs 🍀 Then there’s the farm! What a sweet experience. We got to feed the animals and collect the morning eggs. Walk to the Brandywine Nearby Creek for a beautiful walk along. I recommend! This is a special place!

Our time in the treehouse was magical. It was my 13 year old son and I. He is 6’1” and he was able to comfortably sleep in the loft. Bill and everyone at Fairview Farms was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The stargazing was phenomenal; I highly recommend a dip in the hot tub under the stars. I would recommend bringing a heated blanket in the colder months. I brought ours and it was the perfect mix of cold and snuggly warm. There is a heater that works like a charm, with the blanket we only used it during the day.

This is our second year staying at Susan's Christmas Tree Farm campsite! and we'll be back again! I think going late October almost insures you'll have the whole place to yourself which makes for a really peaceful and relaxing stay... probably a little too cold for some but I love the cold! Campsite is always prepared and clean, stocked with your (pre-purchased) firewood, water and a sink to clean dishes and a cool little port-a-potty! The view of Hawk Mountain is incredible especially with a lit night sky and the moon! last year we hiked Hawk Mountain and this year we hiked a bit of the Appalachian Trail only couple miles form the campsite. My favorite local place for beers and a burger is McKeansburg Hotel and Tavern great bartender, service and friendly local hangout! I highly recommend this place!

We stayed at Fairview Farms Airfield in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, and it was one of the most peaceful weekends we’ve had in a long time. The property is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills and open fields that make you instantly relax. It’s quiet, private, and feels like a place where time slows down. Bill was great to talk with—friendly, easygoing, and made sure we had what we needed. The site was level and easy to set up our camper. We really appreciated the thirty dollars a day for unlimited firewood. That was a nice touch, and we made sure not to take advantage of it. Sitting by the fire at night with the stars out and the moon glowing over the ridge was perfect. My dog loved it too, watching everything from the camper window and enjoying the calm. The place has a simple charm that makes you want to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back.

She was so thoughtful and nice to talk to, helped me get set up for the night, and showed me around the property so I felt very safe and had a relaxing evening and night. It was lovely meeting Bear the dog and the cats on the property as well, such sweethearts. The campsite was a good size, was decorated for the upcoming holiday, and had plenty of privacy from the road. Beautiful clear starry skies. I'm glad I stayed at Mel's along my trip!
