A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. All camp sites are on the eastern border and close to the main road to access property. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest, watch nature's critters, read or just relax in a hammock. No hunting on property but fishing permitted along "river" aka Red Bank Creek. Please keep fires in firepit and noise levels low. With 4 campsites on 75 acres, guests have ample privacy and space, with the freedom to roam this posted property that has no homes on it. Perched high above the Allegheny there are several spots to take in the wonderful views. There is also a waterfall with a 3’ deep pool below it. Great for splashing with kids or dogs, guests love exploring the creek bottom and making new discoveries. The more curious guests sometimes find the ruins of the original homestead, chimney and spring house that sit upstream. The property is teeming with wildlife. Birds and tree frogs will be the soundtrack of your visit, and often deer will be seen nosing along the outskirts of your site in the mornings and evenings. Turkey, bald eagles and even bear are occasionally spotted, so be prepared to secure your food and trash at night. For those coming to disconnect, you have found the right place. We can host the largest of rigs (even up to 45 feet). As you can imagine, it takes a lot of mowing to manage grounds of this size. There is a red storage building (for our mower) about 10 yards from the site that we reserve the right to access. We want the place in top shape for you, and we will not mow or weed-wack near your site during your stay. We do have three well behaved pups, and we are about 60 yards away from this site in our cabin. Sorry to say, we are not yet comfortable with guests bringing pets, but this may change soon. Must love dogs, because we do take ours throughout the property for exercise. Though you will see sewer clean outs, our system is not equipped or available for RV septic use as this time. Eighteen Acres is conveniently postured near I-79 (3 minutes) / I-80 (5 minutes), The Grove City Outlets (4 minutes), Big Rail Brewing (30 seconds), and Keystone Safari (10 seconds). We sit at the midpoint between Grove City College (8 minutes) and Slippery Rock University (9 minutes). Today, you'll see the property offers a single site (with 50/30amp electric hookup and water) for those looking to escape the city and find reprieve in the country. Lord willin', more RV and camp sites will be on the way! We intend to be available May 1st to October 31st (weather pending). Pricing is about $40+ less (nightly) than the KOA! Plus you get a huge space. There is no bath house, sewer/dump station (for black/gray water), or showers at this time, but you'll see we are working towards those things. With good planning and if you prefer, we can be there to help you set up. The site will be clearly marked, and there is more than enough room to back in/out. We can host the largest of rigs (even up to 45 feet). As you can imagine, it takes a lot of mowing to manage grounds of this size. There is a red storage building (for our mower) about 10 yards from the site that we reserve the right to access. We want the place in top shape for you, and we will not mow or weed-wack near your site during your stay. We do have three well behaved pups, and we are about 60 yards away from this site in our cabin. Sorry to say, we are not yet comfortable with guests bringing pets, but this may change soon. Must love dogs, because we do take ours throughout the property for exercise. Though you will see sewer clean outs, our system is not equipped or available for RV septic use as this time. Tampering with or attempting to use the clean outs will likely lead to a discontinuation of your stay. Please forgive us, we are working on a plan for this in the future. We accept Class B’s, Class C’s, and Camper Vans.

My pup and I loved our overnight stay. The property is beautiful and quiet. We woke in the morning to a herd of deer walking through camp. Having electric available was a big bonus. We were car camping and being able to have a car heater to keep us cozy was perfect on a 30 degree night. My pup loved being able to be off leash.

This site is perfect! The road is a bit rough towards then end, but it’s a short distance. Do go to the left as Josh recommends! We went right without our camper to see and don’t, just don’t. The site is well kept and private and very big. Perfect to let our dog, Sully, roam free the whole time. It was his first camping trip. A+ for Sully. Already thinking about coming back next year. Thank you for the nice relaxing time!

Weekend Trip to Clear Creek Cook Forest Campsite

We absolutely love this campsite! This is not the first time we've been here, and certainly won't be the last! This site is absolutely perfect for our family and dog! It is private, quiet, beautiful and clean! Sitting at the campfire and staring into the woods is life-giving. Our kids and dog can run around without any worry. The electric and water hook ups are so nice to have as well! There are several picnic tables to use and an awesome fire ring. Pulling in and out are super easy because of the nicely graveled area! Don't let the road coming in discourage you...this is no indication of what you'll experience once you're there! We thank Josh and his family for allowing us to use the site again to end our 2025 camping season (we began with them too!) We will certainly be back in 2026!

Such a beautiful location. The views were amazing. The hosts were super accommodating and kind. They were on site when we visited, and they offered to give my nieces and nephews a ride in their buggy. They had a blast. Kids and dogs loved trekking through the creek and exploring the waterfall. The open field was great for us to play all sorts of games. Played capture the flag at night. All in all a great time.

Nice, off-the-beaten-path campground with lots of ammenities, clean restrooms, and a wonderful community “HUB” for relaxing and getting connected. The only downside to our stay was that the site we picked (hard to see online what you might be next to…) was very close to a long-term camper who’s living space was about a foot away from our sewer dump. Made dump time a bit awkward. Otherwise, a very quiet and peaceful location that I’m sure will prosper in the coming years. Would definitely stay again.

We parked our short bus at the hill top and had the most RESTFUL stay with Bill and Nancy. No one else had booked the weekdays we stayed and it was such a treat to enjoy the sounds of turkeys, birds, and gentle rain all to ourselves. Having the flushable toilet on site was wonderful (rare to find). The hilltop felt private as could be. We enjoyed fires for 2 nights with the bundle provided, and there was still a bit left. Pokeberries abundant for painters! Bill and Nancy are kind, considerate, and have a lovely kept home and property. We were beside ourself with the peace we felt during our stay and will definitely try to stop back on our way home. There's a rifle range in the distance but for a person who struggles with PTSD, the sounds were few and far between, and distant. For as many stays as I've come across this, it was entirely manageable 🩷 appreciation to bill for the heads up when we arrived/met.

3 nights at Neal Homestead Camp Sites

We enjoyed a peaceful, 3 nights at the boondocking site beginning of October. If getting away & immersion in nature but near conveninences is attractive you have found the spot. It's easy access from Rt 80. If you have a low rear clearance on your rig don't take the "no truck" route down Madison Avenues steep hill, continue on Rt 322. Our map apps using the street address came up as Corsica & that worked. GPS had destination beyond the entrance so keep an eye out in advance for the Hipcamp sign. The gate is not a typical swing gate. It's a "piston"(can't find proper name) gate that is moderately hard to slide open. Be prepared to have some physical capability to enter the site. It is a great feature to add security. Lock worked easily. When you enter the "gate" there are signs not far from gate that were confusing to us. Arrows appear to be opposite of the correct way to enter according to hip camp directions for boondocing camp. We ignored that sign & followed the directions from app & we were successful. The road back to site is not bad at all. Our 24' shuttle rv conversion with bumper basket didn't scrap or have any issues. Trail to the stream thats indicated in description, is off of road between boondock site & adventure camp & marked w a tire with a utility flag. Site has some very minimal road noise. Large opening that was great for solar even in fall. The aroma of sweet grass permeated the air & we enjoyed the bird sounds. We appreciated & consider the lack

We loved camping at this spot so much! We have two small children with us, and the toddler loved checking out the pond and gazebo. The whole space is beautifully green; would recommend splurging a tiny bit for the site with the great view. The hosts are so wonderful, and they gave us some awesome recommendations for nearby National Parks. Such a blessing to meet them. Would definitely stay here again!

It's very peaceful here and enjoy hearing the animals. The adorable goats introducedthemselvis as I was packing up in the morning. -so cute. I love Goats! (Rooster crowed just before my actual alarm clock-LOL). I value privacy and safety and slept well. I slept in my SUV. I have an airmattress and sleeping pad that keeps me comfortable. I plan to be back next time I need to travel to PGH.
