Enjoy BEAUTIFUL, fall camping at our mostly private and very spacious lake property with dock and boats. The mild October weather still provides a great opportunity to camp and enjoy the lovely foliage around the lake! Our folks bought this family property in 1953, and it is used and maintained now by our family. We feel blessed to be able to share it with our own children and grandchildren today, and offer it to others to enjoy who may not have such a peaceful and serene spot to relax and unwind.
Stay on 10 beautiful acres of rustic, private land with many good camping spots to choose from in grassy areas with lots of trees.
Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming. We have a gazebo at the lake shore, and an anchored swimming float. Kayaks, canoe, rowboat, and peddle boat are available. Lots of wildlife around the lake to enjoy.
Campfire ring, water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Picnic tables and chairs provided. Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required. Mostly level terrain, ample parking area. Very peaceful here. My favorite place to relax, with a guitar and a glass of wine!
Choose your own campsite; spots are reasonably private and secluded. Mowed paths throughout camping section; both sunny and shady spots on both sides of stream. The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo, and metal fire ring and picnic tables, are communal.
Parking is in a large gravel area behind cottage. Campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area. Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose.
There is no bathroom.
(Cottage is private.) You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags. Trash and recycling cans are provided. No shower, but the lake is great for swimming - even in FALL!

The Cabin with No Name exceeded every expectation we had. The awesome book selection, incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing shower, the vast land of trails behind it all paired with quirky/cozy decor are only a few of the warm takeways from this experience. Kat swiftly responded to us and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed it here so much we decided to extend our trip in the middle of it. It's obvious the care, attention and love that was put into this place. It truly felt like our home away from home. Would absolutely return here.

We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a fantastic time at Kat’s place for the weekend. It was perfect for our getaway. There’s easy direct access to a beautiful wooded area with a number of falls of different sizes. The cabin is well decorated and I appreciated all the games, including games for kids. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Booked the cabin for a family birthday trip and everything was lovely! Our plan was to just hang out for a couple days and the cabin was the perfect place for that. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/etc so we could cook while we were there pretty easily. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable (4 adults and 3 dogs!). We brought a bunch of board games and such but there was also a good collection on the bookshelf. Everything was clean and the cabin is obviously well cared for. Excellent puzzle tables and a fun record collection!

Weekend Trip to Canvas Private Glamping Yurt
Heather’s glamping Yurt was perfect! The privacy was beyond amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful!!
Heather was very responsive and available for any questions or needs that came up, although the site was so thoughtfully set up, we didn’t even find a need to ask for anything!!
We loved discovering the rock wall behind our site and the sunset from that space was really neat.
We utilised the farm store on the property for our morning eggs, they were fantastic!! Nothing like farm fresh eggs to start the day off right. We didn't get any milk or meat that was also available there but it was nice to know if we had wanted some, we wouldn’t have to go far to get it!
The private heated shower and the flushable toilet will persuade any non-camping enthusiast to come out and discover how wonderful this experience is!!
Fire wood is readily available just a hop, skip down from Site 2, where we stayed. Only one lil hop from site 1!
I would highly recommend this Yurt camping experience to anyone!!!!!!!

Really really lovely property with a lovely cozy vibe. Everything you could possibly need is in the kitchen- we made many a good breakfasts! Could use a good overall dusting in corners etc… But we were happy to enjoy such a beautiful shared space. Be sure to hike down to the falls!

Weekend Trip to Secluded BLT Cabin
The spot is complete tranquility. In a span of 3 days, I only had one passerby on an ATV, otherwise it is basically in the woods, and the nature is impressive all around you. There is no power and barely any cel coverage (almost none really) so be ready for that, but there was plenty of wood for the woodstove, and I was offered to stay an extra 12+ hours if I needed, which added to the "no stress" time I had. The hosts are quick to respond and let me be otherwise. I would stay again.

We loved our stay here (again)! Catherine is the sweetest, most communicative host, and her property is just magical. The lakeside is calm, beautiful, and full of life—we spotted birds, fish, snakes, and even some fancy bugs showing off. The communal area is spotless, perfectly set up with boats, games, and plenty of room to relax. Our first trip was with a group of four and this time it was just me, my partner, and our dog, and both visits were equally wonderful. I loved Andrea’s place!! It was really nicely secluded and had everything you’d need for a glamping getaway. We have a really reactive dog who barks and gets anxious at the sight or sound of nearly anything and she was so calm at this cabin. We had no issues driving in our non 4WD car or finding the place, it was all very easy. We really enjoyed the fire and seeing the stars at night. I’ll definitely be back.

We wanted to attempt glamping before camping with our 15 month old. We also knew we wanted seclusion. Heather’s land was perfect for just that! I loved that there were only two sites and they were far enough away from each other that we couldn’t hear other campers. The thoughtfulness and amenities provided were impressive we barely needed to pack any “essentials” as Heather provided it all! The outdoor shower was such a nice addition after a long hike at Salt Springs State Park. The bed was very comfortable and cleanliness was top notch!
A short Walk to visit the cows and donkeys, learning the process of milking the cows, and chatting with Heather and her family was a highlight of our stay. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet little getaway with nice amenities!

Absolutely amazing camping trip! The yurt was huge, beautifully set up, and the bed was cozy and warm. The site itself was private and spacious, with everything provided to make camping effortless — from a fully stocked kitchen to all the camping essentials. All we had to bring was food and clothes. My dogs loved it, and the highlight for my 4-year-old was helping milk a cow and playing with the baby calves — she’s still talking about it! A perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back.

2 nights at Cabin Getaway
My husband, dogs, and I all had an amazing mini trip at Andrea’s cabin! Our dogs can be scared of strangers so we try to pick secluded spots and this cabin was perfect. We didn’t see any people, though we did hear dogs barking in the distance at night but that’s no biggie and my dogs we’re pretty quickly unphased. We did also hear coyotes not far away, so just be smart about camping around wildlife, as one should be!
The cabin was so clean, the cots, outdoor shower/sink, grill and cast iron fireplace were amazing accommodations and there was firewood for sale as well. There’s also a hammock, fire pit & swing! We had an amazing time just relaxing in nature with our dogs and looking at the super bright stars! Our dogs had so much room to roam/run around and they had the time of their lives.
Highly recommend this cabin getaway!!

Cathy’s property is wonderful. She gave us clear instructions to get there and pick out our spot to camp. There’s multiple areas to pick from close to the lake and further back with great landscaping to other paths to camp on. Plenty of flat land for tents. The stars are absolutely gorgeous at night. The swimming off the dock was great. There are plenty of boats to choose from. Having well water was very helpful. They allow you to use their trash and recycling also which is a huge plus. Everything was wonderful.
