It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

In summer of 2011, Chris and Beth got married and dove into the wine industry when they purchased a majestic 62 acre property in the foothills of the coastal mountain range in Yamhill County. The property had been an old timber farm that was in bad shape. In 2012, a portion of the property was cleared and planted and the adventure had just begun!The vineyard was planted in 2012, with additional blocks planted each year since. In 2015 they produced our first lots of Pinor Noir and Sauvignon Blanc and have since expanded the wine selection to offer hand-crafted lots of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Dolcetto, Lagrein and more.These days, Chris manages the day to day operations of the farm and wine production while Beth manages the business.

Just outside of McMinnville you will be welcomed to an area of towering 60ft Ash, Alder, Maple, Oak and both Grand and Douglas Fir. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley and only a few camping spots are opened. The tree canopy keeps the underbrush in check while providing the tree shadows you will seek for Bird watching, local animal life and quality of camping not found outside of the open camping area in the middle of the largest state park. Turning at the Dairy Queen on 99 before sheridan and 10 minutes later you are at the access drive, then to the right of the split on a 1/4 mile shared wooded drive is an open gate, a few trees and an entrance to an old logging road to take you down to a small grove with seclusion and gentle breezes coming from up the year round spring fed stream nearby. The road leads on down to the crossing being restored, some natural photo options and nothing but native oregon plants and shaded grass for a picnic. 2 hiking options are avalible, and one can be guided from there and at the far back end of the property is a barn and a few animals if they want to learn about small animals. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley It is 21 acre forested lot behind a 20 acre forested lot in front and 3 100's acre parcelsaround it without direct view into the camping spots ( minus sunrise oaks that has one side exposed 100 feet away for max sun).

There is large grassy area for a tent or games. We also provide a picnic table that can accommodate 8 people. No sewer hookup and no dump station - sorry. Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside. Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside. We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery. We like things chill and would love to have you enjoy is special setting.

Whitney was great and very helpful. I. stayed in the grove of trees and it was gorgeous! A lot of options for camp sites, great view, and quiet. There was a basketball court, volleyball net, and dodgeball, plenty of fire pits, and games and fun activities in the little glass house. Would stay again, may bring a group this summer

This is my most favorite Hipcamp, the setting was like a state park, the host was very welcoming. Sites vary between Forest camping and Orchard camping, I was in a big van so I took the Orchard. Incredible views and enjoyed walking around the land. Definitely will stay again when I’m in the area. Don’t be put off by the steep driveway, a UPS truck makes it up and down!

The cabin at Sarah’s place is awesome. It’s warm and cozy with thoughtful touches and the rushing river is blissful. Seeing the salmon spawning and jumping was an extra treat. Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

I would categorize this as a great passing through spot. It is private, easy to find, easy to park, the host was available for communication and had very clear communication.
