Weekend Trip to Tom's Rest Canyon Retreat Center

My dog, Panzer, and I had a great stay here! We had originally booked site 4, but due to a no-show Cheryl said we could set-up in site 5, which gave us a ton of room to spread out that I didn't expect. It can be dusty, but I'm used to that in Central Oregon - having the gravel road cuts down on the dust quite a bit too (personally, I packed up my tent in the gravel). I was surprised by the complete lack of bugs, which was a great highlight. And I loved how close the restroom was - even being in the furthest camping spot, it's maybe a 2-minute walk. Once we got the lay of the land, the best part was being able to let Panzer run off-leash - he had a grand ol' time traversing the terrain. It was nice that Cheryl kept checking in on us as well - very personable and a great conversationalist.

Staying at the Tiny House on the Farm Sanctuary was one of the most unique and heartwarming experiences I’ve ever had. Every detail in the house felt intentional and personal—cozy, charming, and full of character. You can feel the love that Robine has put into creating this space. Waking up surrounded by nature and animals was something truly special. Everything was clean, inviting, and just perfect for a grounding weekend escape. I left feeling restored and inspired. I have stayed with my wife here before, I have also camped on the property a few times. It has become one of my favorite places to get away. It’s very stress free, Amanda is a wonderful host and the place is quite frankly, stunning. I enjoy places of silence and few people, and this has both. And the stars, you just can’t get them any better than here. Fantastic. BF

This cleverly designed tiny house was a treat. How fun to sleep in the loft! Cannot believe the STARS out here. Fun to have the animals nearby. The best quiet sleep and gorgeous views of the mountains in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay right down to the gorgeous orange cat who came in the evening to greet me and walked me out to say goodbye in the morning. So sad I didn’t have time for a farm tour. Next visit!

Really just a spot in the driveway in a residential neighborhood. That said, it was a nice neighborhood and Heather was very accommodating. If you're looking for a basecamp to explore Bend this is a good option.

Weekend Trip to Tom's Rest Canyon Retreat Center

Cheryl is a very friendly host and so easy to work with! We happened to be the only campers there when we stayed (I think a recent fire scared people away), and it was fantastic to have a real bathroom all to ourselves! In fact, since we were the only campers, Cheryl suggested we switch to site 5 which is bigger and has more shade. We really appreciated that! Our biggest complaint is no fault of Cheryl's; the land is just really dusty, and all of us and all of our stuff was very dirty. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Thank you, Cheryl!

This group of campers had the best time! Hanging out and enjoying space #1 Can't wait to see you next year!

Weekend Trip to Golden Triangle RV Bend, Oregon

This was our second time staying at Rocki's and it was even better than the last! We rented both spots and had a great time. The location is perfect - only 10 minutes to downtown Bend, and if you prefer to Uber, it's less than $20. The sites are clean, the lighting Rocki has up sets the perfect mood, and the sunsets are outstanding. I hate (and love) bragging about the spots because it feels like our hidden gem of a campground! We already can't wait to come back!

Wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a clean, quiet spot close to Sisters or Bend with some amenities. Great views and Cheryl is an amazing host. Tent spots are huge with a short walk to restroom and water. Definitely a hidden gem! We'll be back.

They were clear about the limitations for camping with the need to have self contained facilities and electric (as personally required). Our stay at Robine’s farm was truly magical. The tiny house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable night. What made the experience so special was the chance to share it with our baby — seeing the animals up close was unforgettable and brought so much joy to him (and to us!). Robine herself is an incredible host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe, even while dealing with the challenges of the nearby fire. Her kindness, hospitality, and dedication to caring for the animals really stood out to us. We left with wonderful memories and hope to come back again in the future. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique, and heartwarming experience. 🌿✨
