Beautiful location on the Smith River with easy access drive-in site in my van. Each site had a picnic table. There is a small store with food items for sale but not much remained although my visit was at the end of the fishing season. Well stocked bar with plenty of brew selection. This Hip-camp is 15-20 minutes from Reedsport which is a good location for any needed business in the city of Reedsport. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area.

Perfect spot for a quick stop overnight, beautiful location. very well maintained property with so much charm. having the store & tavern is so convenient. Troy even served us fireside our dinner that we ordered… really lovely time. We were camped next to two other sets of campers and we really enjoyed sharing a fire with them. adding to our list of places to stop on the way up the 101. We went for a nice morning walk and watched the cows run through the foggy fields. Also saw an elk on the way in. Definitely recommended this place! if you are seeking a private campsite this may not be for you but if you are open to fireside chats make this a stop! also - we LOVED the dogs on the property, so incredibly sweet.

The Siltcoos Cove was everything we could’ve hoped for. As a first-time experience with Hipcamp, we would 10/10 recommend a visit to this special place. As a family of four and a little dog, we had plenty of room to roam and the lake access cannot be beat. There were even fun toys and bubbles for the girls, which we really appreciated! So grateful to these folks for making their land available to us. We had the best time and hope to return!

Basic camp sites, in a beautiful area. It was nice to have friendly dogs come say hi, we walked to see some cows that we could hear, and ordered hot food at the store, because it poured rain our whole time there. It was much needed rain in the dry summer! And it was so warm I slept most of the night without covers. I wish more campsites were like this.

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking a camping spot at a grocery store, but I had a wonderful stay! Small camping area comfortable for a handful of RV's or campers. Lots of trees and flat space. Very clean porta-potty. Friendly camp hosts, some cute photo ops and fully stocked tavern with outside seating. The resident dogs are gentle and curious. Very well behaved and obedient. About 15 miles off Hwy 101, but clean, great sky watching, and very relaxing spot. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway from the road.

Our piece of heaven… We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill(bring your own propane or rent a bottle from us), fire pit, patio set, table and chairs. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022.
