You will wake up to the sights, sounds and smells of our rescued farm animal friends. You will wake up in the morning to the sound of roosters crowing and our crew of friendly animal residents. It can be noisy at times but we find it delightful! The tiny house offers an amazing "glamping" experience and a unique opportunity to learn more about what we do at our animal sanctuary and even take a tour! The Space: Our hand made tiny house offers a double sized mattress (bedding included) in the upstairs area (access via an attached ladder). Room for an additional person across from double bed also in upstairs area or put provided mat on the floor. Please note: the space is small for 3 people and better serves 2. The Kitchen: Tiny house kitchen area has a small refrigerator, small counter space for meal prep, a tea kettle for hot water, water jug for fresh water, french press coffee pot and coffee/tea, hot plate for cooking, popcorn maker and popcorn, pots and pans, silverware, napkins, bottle openers, etc. We now have a new small outdoor kitchen with a two burner propane stove and an outside fish washing station. The Facilities: The tiny house offers a composting toilet for night time pee pee needs and offers a port-a-potty for all other uses please! If you want to know a secret river dipping spot or where to go to find a sauna I’m happy to share! Outdoor Shower: We have a lovely little “instant hot” shower for use on non freezing days. The Location: We are conveniently located between beautiful Bend, Oregon and Sisters, Oregon. We have hiking and biking trails within .3 of a mile! We also have books to recommend 100's of other hiking, biking, nordic skiing and alpine skiing nearby! And, since we are outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we are happy to recommend places to ski, hike, mountain bike, float or paddle!

We just stayed one night so didn’t ’use’ the site much. But it was everything we needed to just pull in after dark, pop up our camper, have a nice peaceful sleep. Sat outside in our chairs with our small dog for our morning coffee, then got the road again. Easy to find if you’re coming from Hwy 20. Nice flat and clear parking area. Quiet restful night.

This cleverly designed tiny house was a treat. How fun to sleep in the loft! Cannot believe the STARS out here. Fun to have the animals nearby. The best quiet sleep and gorgeous views of the mountains in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay right down to the gorgeous orange cat who came in the evening to greet me and walked me out to say goodbye in the morning. So sad I didn’t have time for a farm tour. Next visit!

Susan's place is phenomenal. It's a fantastic location right above Billy Chinook Lake. It has a sweet little cabin you can stay in and a tent site area complete with everything you could need for a weekend away. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Each area has outdoor lounging areas, propane fire pits, outdoor cooking areas complete with supplies, a lovely hot outdoor shower, and a cozy hot tub that's perfect for late night soaking and star gazing. She was the best host you could ask for, so friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Weekend Trip to Casa Del lago 2 Lake Billy Chinook
This was such a beautiful and serene little place! There are multiple little areas for campers but we happened to have the place all to ourselves which is just how I’d prefer it. We had our camper but we could have shown up with nothing but our tents, blankets, clothes and food. There are camping supplies, soft lighting, comfortable outdoor furniture, a clean porta potty, clean outdoor shower (with instant hot water!), an outdoor sink with running water, shade and privacy. Even though the major Flat fire was right next to us and we lost water for a bit, it was one of my most favorite camping trips! We were right near Lake Billy Chinook & Three Rivers and a little store/gas station. Susan is the best host! She is so kind and responsive and it’s apparent she takes great pride in the look and care of this magical little place. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Robine’s farm was truly magical. The tiny house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable night. What made the experience so special was the chance to share it with our baby — seeing the animals up close was unforgettable and brought so much joy to him (and to us!). Robine herself is an incredible host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe, even while dealing with the challenges of the nearby fire. Her kindness, hospitality, and dedication to caring for the animals really stood out to us. We left with wonderful memories and hope to come back again in the future. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique, and heartwarming experience. 🌿✨

Me, my partner, and our dog really enjoyed our stay at Cabin Del Courtyard. Susan is so communicative and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of the accommodations, especially the Nexgrill, hot tub (once it cooled down at night), and the fire pit. The hosts have really thought of everything that you need and prioritize their guests privacy. We would love to stay and visit the area again.

Robine the tiny home were wonderful. The a/c worked great and the small space was so well stocked with everything we needed plus more!!. We loved feeding the pigs in the am! The bed and shower were way better than I could have expected, but the best part was all of the animals. I was so happy to meet them all and hear their stories from Robine. I cannot wait to come back.

Bachelor ski resort via Sunriver, it’s a convenient and peaceful place to land while exploring Bend. This hidden gem is quiet yet close to everything — with a couple of restaurants just up the street less than 5 minutes away. Tents, truck campers, and RVs up to 40’ are all welcome. Pets are allowed, as long as you pick up after them. The RV pad area and front yard are accessible, and the site is well-shaded by tall pine trees, so it stays comfortable even on hot days. The neighborhood is about as safe as they come — you could literally leave things unlocked and nothing would happen. This 320 acre plot of land on which you can hike anywhere has been in our family since 1993. Large, graveled spot for tents or two vehicles with excellent view for miles and miles and night star gazing. Primitive outhouse. Juniper forest with sage brush... basically high desert vegetation. We only allow one reservation per night. You can arrange vehicles or tents to not be in view or block any view from house way above. 320 acres to hike and roam. Mitchell is 10 miles away with well stocked grocery and feed store, restaurants, small brewery, and tire shop. We give directions fairly quickly. Road is wide, but steep at top. 4 wheel drive is recommended. Very close to the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National monument, Ochoco National Forest is seven miles. John Day River for swimming, rafting about 20 minutes. If you can book, it means you can drive on up with out contacting us.  As you drive in if at night, you will see a light on the outhouse.
